What a lovely restaurant. The service was great. We were seated at a cozy, romantic booth for two.
We went during Restaurant Week 2026 and they had a nice planned menu. We asked to see the regular menu and it was also filled with lots of tasty choices. Chicken, lamb and beef dishes, fish, vegan/vegetarian options. I would describe the fare as a blend of Asian, Indian, Mediterranean and Persian. Deliciously prepared and beautifully presented. They have a good wine list too.

Silky smooth arrival—greeted warmly at the door and even better once I took a seat at the bar with Francesca. The lighting was dim, but the atmosphere was beaming. Started with a date. Not that kind—but a fruit dish that was delightful and met all my dating needs.
The main event brought a pork side belly story with rice and greens. Crunchy pork belly, tender meat.
Bringing the meal to a happy ending was the mandarin olive oil cake—because everything is better when cakes are equally moist and oily. Not to be outdone, Francesca surprised me with a pear dish to compare.
All in all, Silk was a welcome addition to Restaurant Week. Definitely give them a try. Pork belly not pictured. Camera failure.

Silk Route is easily one of Savannah’s spot for some flavorful, comforting fusion of South Asian and Mediterranean cuisine. The moment you walk in, the cozy, stylish atmosphere makes it feel like the perfect place for both a casual dinner and a special night out.
The flavors are rich without being overly heavy, and the portions are generous.we had the charred octopus which was delicious and the kofte which were very yummy! For our mains we had the salt and pepper shrimp it was ok-ish and wished there more shrimp than the heads of the shrimp which was unexpected but none the less still flavorful! They also have an extensive wine/cocktail menu as well.
Service is friendly and attentive.
Overall, Silk Route delivers delicious food, a relaxed ambiance, and a satisfying dining experience. A special mention to the lounge area it is very beautiful for a quiet gathering with friends and take some awesome photos!! The ambience is amazing!

One of the very best restaurants in Savannah! We loved the mezze platter, cheesy naan bread, pork bao buns, and the duck with rice. The duck is served medium rare which I was a little worried about but it was delicious and cooked perfectly!

The atmosphere was lovely. Service was a little slow, but the food was spectacular. The Handmade Shumai and Kabuli Pulao Saffron were delicious.

Fantastic new spot in Savannah. I had the octopus, sea bass, and cheesecake- all 10/10. The octopus had some really interesting spices balanced with orange slices, and the sea bass was a HUGE portion, considering (usually they are quite small). The potatoes under the sea bass were a little oil-heavy, but still tasty. I tried the cheesecake as well, and it was surprisingly light and well balanced.

The staff was also incredibly friendly, and food came out very promptly. Would absolutely recommend- will be trying their sister properties as well (Narra Tree).

We want to thank the Silk Route for hosting our monthly foodnetworking event. Have these monthly events with amazing restaurants through Savannah and surrounding cities gives our nonprofit more visibility. For the owners to invite us and host was an amazing night. The appetizers and drinks were so good.
Thank you again,

Silk Route is an absolute gem! From start to finish, the food, presentation, and atmosphere were all chef’s kiss

We kicked things off with the mezze platter — colorful, creamy, and packed with flavor. The humus dip was a standout, and the fresh veggies and warm pita made it the perfect starter.

The short rib entrée was comfort food on another level and favorite — juicy, fall-apart tender, sitting on a bed of buttery mashed potatoes with roasted root veggies and a drizzle of that rich, savory sauce. I could eat this every day!

Dessert was a showstopper — a delicate baklava roll filled with cream, sprinkled with pistachios, surrounded by a gorgeous pistachio crumble. Sweet, crunchy, creamy, and totally unique.

Silk Route knows how to deliver an experience — not just a meal. Highly recommend for date nights, foodies, or anyone who loves a little flair with their flavor!
