The seasoning on the meat skewers was good, but they all end up tasting the same. If you love their cumin mix, perfect; if not, it can feel repetitive. The meat itself didn’t stand out as being quality cuts either (not that they were poor cuts). The bamboo skewers they used were extremely long for the amount of meat on them. We also ordered the Sichuan Spicy Hot Pot. It lacked other flavors outside of chili oil. It felt cheaply made since there were ramen noodles and ham inside it. The Grilled Enoki Mushrooms tasted good but was honestly a very tiny portion. What I liked most was the Hot & Sour Shredded Potato, a good crunchy appetizer with sourness.

In terms of ordering, you’re left on your own with their ordering iPads. Service is nearly non-existent, which I feel sucks because it’s not a proper introduction to authentic Chinese cuisine. I really wanted to like this place, and I still think it’s worth trying if you’ve never had Chinese style skewers, but I was disappointed.

$20.98 for this? This is my 2nd time ordering Spicy Chicken Giblets; at first, it was really good, a good price, and good quality, and now it’s such a small portion for 20 bucks. Good luck to y’all if you want to try spicy chicken giblets.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! First, the customer service was terrible. I ordered through Uber Eats and it says you have an option to get rice or a few other options. When I arrived for pickup, they clearly did not give me rice, but also did not include the other options as listed on the receipt. I had to show them on the app before they would fix it and wait another 10-15 minutes. They had an attitude about it. Upon getting home, I saw that they had given me one rib cut into 3 small pieces instead of the at least 3 whole ribs shown in the online photo!!! The meat used in the stir fried pork was not the same cut of meat shown in the online photo and it tasted freezer burned. The squid tasted freezer burned. The sausage was cold. The only edible items that didn’t go in the trash were the sesame balls and the green beans. I reported the order to Uber Eats, but they refused to even give me a partial refund because it was a pick order. Terrible experience and terrible food. I wanted to support a smaller place, but I’ll be returning to Corner 17.

The owner responded to my review saying they would refund me through Uber Eats. I have not received the refund and neither has Uber Eats. I was hung up on when I first called the restaurant to let them know. I left my phone number and was never contacted back.

We had a several different skewers and the lamb. I liked the food a lot. The lamb ribs and beef skewers were the best items we had while I’d recommend skipping the squid skewer. While I liked the food, most of it does taste about the same, and just about all of it was spicy (which worked for me but was too much for my wife). Food came out very quickly. Ultimately, this is a great spot for spice lovers, but it is lacking in variety when it comes to flavor.

I regret to inform you that I neglected to capture a photograph of their skewers, but they are indeed exceptional.
The pork was merely satisfactory to me; however, I found it excessively dry.
If you are seeking a snack paired with beer, I highly recommend their shaokao skewers. They possess a delectable flavor and authentic Chinese taste.

I’ve been visiting this restaurant for a long time, and it’s nice to see how much it has improved. The food is delicious, and the serving size is good as well. The staff is friendly and attentive. Recently, they’ve made many positive changes to the menu and overall experience, and it really shows. It’s better than ever, and I’m happy to keep coming back.

WARNING UBER EATS AND DOORDASH DRIVERS!!! Do not deliver for this place, the owner will bait and switch you on your tip. After delivering the owner literally reduces the tip right after drop off. The location is far from Costco and they intentionally make it a huge tip in order to have faster pick up and immediately reduce the tip. Proof in screenshots from uber app

We walked in about an hour before closing on a Thursday night to a mildly full restaurant. The guy at the counter gave us some suggestions, and we accepted them all (so should you). We got the chicken fresh rolls, the curry chicken noodle bowl, and the grilled pork bahn mi.
Overall, super solid food. We could have both eaten a dozen of the fresh rolls. The noodle bowl had some spring mix, and what I assume was nuac Cham, was very subtle. The bahm mi was soft and mildly crunchy with a good amount of goodies to body ratio. I only with the pork had been freshly grilled.
I recommend and will stop by again next time I visit.
