Great food, huge portions for cheap, but very slow service, even when not packed at all. Ma and I showed up around 3 PM on a Saturday, with less than half the tables filled, and it still took us over 20 minutes from showing up to finally be tabled and served.
However, the portion sizes are great and the food cheap. The staff were nice and accomodating despite the long wait times. 100% coming again.

This place is a little hard to find but definitely worth the effort. Great Mexican food and fantastic service. The servings are huge, I think the queso dip could serve 8 people. Margaritas were okay but beers from the giant cooler of beer were cold and refreshing.

Delicious fish tacos! They were a build your own type of taco, with the fried tilapia topped with the most delicious strawberry and mango pico salsa and feta cheese. Two flour tortillas on the side to assemble myself. Then drizzle a delicious mango dressing over top. Easily one of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had. We also had an extremely generous amount of guacamole. We’re definitely coming back!

My first time visiting the Sierra grill in many years proves that the restaurant has figured out how to remain an excellent Mexican restaurant in the center of a predominantly Salvadorian area. It is worth the short hop off of i-95 to make a stop here if you like authentic Mexican cuisine. The food is good. The services excellent. My food came out faster than it would have at Taco Bell. It was warm, spicy and delicious. It is also affordable. My meal only cost $15 including tip. I had the mini chimi and enchilada combo. They have a mix of Coca-Cola brand beverages and Mexican beverage specialties. They do not, however have any alcoholic beverages at this time. That may change in the future.

When searching for a place to eat in Maryland, I found a place close to my hotel, Sierra’s Grill & Taqueria. It made the top 10 in WTOP’s 2023 beat international cuisine. So I got a chicken enchilada and a couple of chicken tacos. All were great, but the star of the dinner for me: the salsa. It was out of this world. Great flavor and a spices. If you’re in the area, this truly is a hidden gem. Check it out if you can.

This is a nice restaurant for those who are looking for a sit down meal with the family. I was pleasantly surprised at the portions being a large size. I ordered a burrito which came with rice and beans. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is what you would expect from an establishment of this caliber – a great ambience.

Chips and salsa are free and tasty. I ordered a combo with chimi, burrito, and flauta. It was a large amount of tasty food for a good price. Service was good.

I really like eating at Sierra’s. It’s a very low-key easy going spot with good food. The fish tacos were a new offering or a special so of course I had to get it. It does not come in premade in tacos. And the fried fish is served UNDER all the toppings. Presentation was different but taste was delicious. I didn’t make it through the refried beans that night, they just weren’t great. The chimichanga was good with toppings, not great on its own.
The sour apple sangria was IT though! Definitely put that new feature on your to do list. Very sweet, bút very yum.
