The vodka rigatoni is my favorite! I love to come by specifically for that! Their portion sizes look small but it’s plenty for leftovers. I stared with the No. #8 at the cocktail bar. It’s a refreshing tequila drink, 10/10. They also have happy hour (3-6pm). The salad, soup and burrata with olive oil toast were tasty, and perfect for apps. For my entree, it was a short rib. Very rich and tender, on a bed of creamy risotto. The risotto itself could have been a complete dish, it was delightful! The tiramisu was divine for dessert. It was creamy and fluffy with the perfect amount of sweetness. The staff is so kind and in the evening they have live DJs playing great house and ambiance music. The inside is pretty and the booth seating is intimate but cozy. It’s a great place for birthdays or anniversaries. They also offer dining at the bar.

Once you go inside you get a cool, chic and modern vibe. The staff were friendly and polite to me, my sever had great recommendations and I’m glad I listened to her. The food absolutely blew my mind, the pastas sounded too good, I had to try two of them. You can tell that the pasta were made in house due to the gnocchi tasting fresh and retained the flavor of the sauce wonderfully. The sauce outside for the butternut squash ravioli complimented the inside of the pasta. The spiced apples with the cake were sweet enough but didn’t overwhelm the cake itself. My first time visiting Chicago and this restaurant and I will certainly come back when I visit again.

From the moment the hostess greeted us, the experience was very pleasant. Everyone was so kind. The menu is varied, and the waitress did a great job explaining the dishes to us. All our choices were spot on—we loved everything. The food was flavorful, portions were good, and the price was very fair. It was a great dinner! Everything was excellent.

Every plate was beyond amazing. I went during resturants week so the portions were smaller from what they usually serve in order to try the full course. I tried a bit of the octopus and I must come back for it again! It was extremely tender and balanced with different flavors. The waygu meatball was juicy and melted in your mouth. 10 out of 10 for all the items I tried.

We stopped by **Sierra Tavern** during happy hour and honestly had a great time—exactly the kind of experience that makes you say, *“Yep, we’ll be back.”*

We started with the **Burnt Pepperoni**—tomato sauce, mozzarella, and red chiles. It leaned a bit on the greasy side, but in a very intentional, indulgent way. Bold, flavorful, and absolutely worth it, especially paired with a drink.

The real standout, though, was the **Sea Bass Milanese** with lemon caper aioli—spectacular. Perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and flaky inside, and that aioli brought everything together with just the right balance of brightness and richness. It’s the kind of dish that quietly steals the show.

We also tried the **Mini Tavern Burger** with truffle aioli, balsamic caramelized onions, arugula, and fontina—solid, satisfying, and well-balanced. Small but mighty, and packed with flavor.

Drinks were on point too. The **Espresso Martini** (vanilla vodka, Kahlúa, espresso) was smooth, not overly sweet, and dangerously easy to drink—especially at **$9**. The **Strawberry Spritz** (vodka, strawberry, lemon, brut) was light, refreshing, and equally delicious.

We sat at the bar, the service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the overall vibe was relaxed and enjoyable. A great happy hour spot and definitely a place we’ll be returning to.

Amazing Italian restaurant! We greatly recommend the truffle gnocchi — I believe it is their house special as well! The truffle mushroom
pizza and pesto pasta were also great — however the pesto pasta was a bit on the saltier side. Overall service was great — we were in a bit of a rush, but they were very accommodating! Unfortunately we weren’t able to get seats inside because we didn’t get a reservation so we sat outside near the street, but it was nice that there were heated lamps.

Food was great no doubt, was kind of pricey but I don’t care since my family enjoyed the food. Few suggestions to the management since i am in the same field of business with multiple locations. The table, plates and silverware must be double checked before rolling them and going on the table. I had to ask twice for my silverware to be changed not for stains there were still food on it.

We just happen to find this place. The inside is beautiful and very relaxing. Service is on point. We had Elmer, he was great! The food was flavorful and the presentation was beautiful.

The reason for the 3 stars is the fees at this restaurant are ASTRONOMICAL! My $90 tab became $130 off of fees and a “20% tip” (that conveniently also includes the fees… so it’s more than you add – $20 for $90).

This is wrong and subtracted from the night for me.

I wouldn’t recommend Restaurant Week as the portion sizes were very small… especially if you ordered the “normal” portions it only being around $5 more.

The brick chicken was great. The pasta dishes were just ok. The music was a little loud for dinner conversation. I’m glad I tried it, but for the cost, probably won’t go back.
