Had a wonderful Valentine’s dinner date here with my husband, and it was our first time visiting Siena. We had no idea this little taste of Italy was tucked away in the hills of Austin — truly a hidden gem.

The atmosphere and architecture made us feel like we were in the Italian countryside. We enjoyed every dish, and you could taste the freshness in everything, especially the homemade pasta made in house.

The service was impeccable, and being tucked away by the fireplace made the night feel extra special. We had such a wonderful evening. Highly recommend — we will definitely be back!

This is a very pretty restaurant that seems to fly under the radar. My rating is only specific to the food as I don’t like to rate on service or ambience since it can be subjective. Calamari was ok, there was no tentacles (which I prefer over rings). The bread was good, but you have to ask for it and they only serve it with straight olive oil (I found this to be odd). The chicken parmigiana was not only the largest I’ve ever had, it may also be the best tasting.

First time I went here ten years ago, it was amazing… but their Valentines preset menu was kinda mid, sadly. For the price I would expect world class, not overcooked chicken parm. Service and ambiance was top tier, though, and there are one million wines. Maybe the normal pasta menu is better, idk.

Been there a couple of times! Amazing service delivered by Joana and she genuinely cares about her customers. The appetizers are great but when it comes to main courses… something always goes wrong. They weren’t nice the first time or the second time. But the appetizers and especially the carpaccio are amazing!!! We will keep coming back for the amazing service, amazing wine and amazing appetizers. But we learned our lessons with the main courses lol.

We started with wine and dessert. The chocolate cake with orange marmalade. Delicious!! Absolutely delicious!!!

The wine was fragrant. I also ordered a cocktail and that was so strong and delicious.

Bread was warm and fresh

Pasta was yummy. The potatoes were good but a little salty. Calamari was yum yum yummy.

Loved the ambience. Definitely a great place to celebrate a special occasion. Definitely going back

Just came across this place tucked away into the trees by driving around the area. The outside is very pretty, but then you open the doors and are instantly transformed in an elegant l, Italian/Tuscan authentic restaurant getaway (is that a thing? Haha)
The moment you walk towards your table service is top-notch.

They serve you bread per plate, which is nice, so the basket isn’t sitting there taking up space and feels a little more special this way…not sure why haha

We had the braised wild boar with grilled bread appetizer, which was a little leary of what it would taste like, but it was great. Roasted meat, could taste the grill, tender with a great rub/sauce on it, that’s almost like bbq, but not…(not helpful, sorry…give it a try!) We took some home and reheated with the same great taste, which i feel leftovers are never as good reheated, but this was!

Main dishes
Salmon Toscano
Salmon with crabmeat, shrimp, and spinach
All was cooked perfectly! The spinach was not over cooked, had great flavor!!
Salmon, was wonderful, as were the shrimp.

The other 2 got
Trota in Crosta di Noci
Trout with a walnut crust, with shrimp and spinach. They had zero complaints and said it was also cooked to perfection!

To top off my food comma, I had an Irish Coffee, and the table got the vanilla gelato…which sad to say I slacked and didn’t get a picture, probably because I was so full and not foxusing anymore haha.

It’s pricey, but worth the cost, I my opinion, when the quality of food can justify the price. Will be back for sure, would like to try the porch ops and steaks. Might as well eat through the menu!!

Go check it out!

LOVELY restaurant in an old stone building in the beautiful hill country of 360. Our waiter was Derek. He was great – very attentive and so good about keeping to my dietary restrictions! I’m pretty picky about italian food – I grew up in NY! We really enjoyed both the ambiance and food. For appetizers, we ordered the carpaccio and calamari. Hubs thought that the carpaccio was ok, but could be less dressed to let the meat shine more as the star. The calamari was amazing – crunchy and not chewy with a great aioli! Homemade bread – definitely ask for it! For the main, the gnocchi was excellent! I had the crab fettuccine – also very good! All pasta is Hand made except for capellini and penne. My son had the pork chop, which was ok, but a tad on the tough side. Normally fries are hand cut, but the prep guy was out so they had frozen – which weren’t great. Make sure to bring ketchup if you HAVE to have on your fries! They don’t serve it – it comes with aioli. For dessert, my son loved the creme brûlée and I loved the white chocolate bread pudding! Hubs was meh on tiramisu – he didn’t think it was balanced enough between the cake (wasn’t lady fingers) and marscapone. Overall a good meal – we will be back!

Atmosphere- I have been in the Austin area for over a year now and would not suspect such a gem to be hidden right off the old capital of Texas highway. The outside of the building is beautiful, brick and mortar with tasteful masonry, and once you step inside the story continues. This feels much like somewhere you’d walk into off of the street in Sorrento or S’ant Agnello, with a warm, romantic but exquisite atmosphere. The building has so much personality, character, and life. No other fine dining restaurants in Austin, with heavier price tags than this place, come close to what this restaurant is. Astounding.
Wine/Food- Easily the top fine dining restaurant in Austin. As for the food, Tuscan, but the drink menu comes with a very descriptive map that lets you “try wine from all over” the different parts of Italy, all while providing brilliant literature on where the different kinds are all derived from. I have had weeks worth of food in Italy and Sicily and was always bummed I would never have Italian dishes in the US that even came close, I would just have to wait until I went back. But wow, this place, truly had my wife and I in awe the whole time. Joanna suggested us the Brushetta; a very savory hog dish paired with lightly charred bread that tasted like something you couldn’t even dream of, then the Mrs. And I had the Capellini con Gamberi, which was presented and tasted exactly like something I would have had on the water in Positano. The pollo parmegiano is also something that will have you wanting more. The best chicken I have ever had hands down. Finished off with the Tiramisu, topped with thinly sliced almonds instead of the conventional cocoa powder you’re used to. But wow, it was the best tiramisu we have ever had. Each dish was better than the last, especially when paired with the proper wines (servers are beyond helpful at offering suggestions) and really make this night out turn into a memory, seamlessly.
Service- Joanna was our server and incredibly genuine and helpful. Most high end restaurants around Austin all have that feeling of slight arrogance coming from the servers or just disconnected. Not here. Everyone here moved and spoke with passion for the restaurant. I can see why they have been able to retain their employees so well, because it felt like you were in somebody’s home and they were genuinely excited to see how you’d react to certain foods and wines. This restaurant deserves every bit of respect and business that comes their way. Absolutely great dining experience, we will be returning.
10/10 in every aspect.

Absolutely in love with the decor. No questions there. Service was ok but when asking for a wine recommendation going straight to the second most expensive wine in the list was a bit much…

Food in all honesty was just so bad. Pasta had probably been left on the pass as it was clumped together and even the sauce couldn’t get it apart. Boar meat was really dry and a big disappointment.

But in general the pasta style is butchered and over Americanized without just offering simply delicious pasta in the style you’d find in…. Siena for example.

It was heartbreaking to our group who had planned this as the highlight dinner of our few days together and not one person liked the food. The host was massively embarrassed and I hope you can improve the food because the atmosphere was just so amazing.

Overall a nice experience! Great vibe. The antipasti mussels were great. Hints of lemon and basil were very appetizing. Our pasta was absolutely amazing. Love the texture of homemade pasta. The cacciucco was okay but only had one piece of scallop which was slightly disappointing lol.
