I was craving pizza but wanted something easier to digest, and the nearest sourdough pizza place in the San Pablo East Bay Area was this one. Bonus that they offered vegan pizza and as quarter and half sizes too. I got a half vegan daily special which has cashew cheese, artichoke, pesto and red onion and couldn’t resist getting sourdough English muffins as well. The pizza was ready in less than 10 minutes, as they have light baked rounds ready and I believe they just had to top and bake. Prices are very affordable, pizza was $14, two muffins were $3.50. Coincidentally, so also got two sourdough pizza dough rounds from Too Good to Go from them as well, which will be exciting to make something with at home. Love supporting a local business with delicious, wholesome food, I’d definitely come here again or visit their other locations too.

The pizza was not good. I went here because I heard they were a sister restaurant to cheeseboard pizza however it’s nothing alike. ( I posted a side by side example the right one is from cheeseboard.)The pizza dough wasn’t even all the way cooked and the overall taste just was not good. They customer service and the lemonade was really great that’s why the 3 stars but I definitely won’t be back. Definitely a waste of money.

Love the green spicy sauce! I put it on everything but especially the delicious pizza. Everything I have tried is so delicious! Another favorite is the Gorgonzola walnut sourdough bread. I look forward to it each week. Best bread ever! I love their soups, scones, muffins,cookies and breads. They make an awesome chai too!

1. All veg or vegan food, a new for pizza place at least for me. Very tasty and authentic flavor and design. Only three kinds of pizza. Two are fixed and you can get all five days. But 3rd one varies every day of thise five days….you can see the offerings each day in the pic.
2. I tried cheese pizza and flavor of the day pizza and both were really tasty and authentic.
3. This place happens to be by the side of a big parking lot so parking was not an issue.

Great pizza and latte
I got the rose latte and slice of the day pizza which was very good, however I think I like the San Francisco Arizmendi location a little better for their pizza.

Fair prices, delicious pizza, and a good cause! Came here for a weekday lunch and had a wonderful pizza with some kind of vinaigrette sauce. Limited seating indoors, but there is outdoor seating too.

While visiting our daughter in Oakland, we heard about Arizmendi’s Bakery & Pizzeria and had walked by on a Tuesday, but unfortunately for us they were closed. They are open Wednesday through Sundays! The first time I went into their store it was early in the morning and I almost passed out from the aroma of their breads. I purchased their sourdough and garlic Parmesan breads and some of their scones! Every was delicious and the breads weee still warm having recently come out of the oven. The last time I went there, I purchased a container of their red lentils soup that was spicy and delicious! While we had to fly back to New York, we’ll be returning soon. We also purchased one of their pizzas that was also great! And their prices are surprisingly reasonable!

The vegan stuff I got was absolutely delectable!! Focaccia, blueberry scone, and raspberry coconut muffin were so tasty and all vegan. The vegan options are a little limited but I didn’t mind in the end because those three things were so dang good.

Had the blueberry coffee cake muffin and ginger snaps. Both were tasty. They have a large selection of homemade breads and daily specials. The pizza looked and smelled delicious.
