Nice place for breakfast–umcommonly good for a hotel restaurant. Limited menu but pretty diverse nonetheless. Servings were generous and prices very reasonable for a Las Vegas hotel venue. Appeared to be kid-friendly as we saw several there. I had the Juevos Rancheros and was surprised by their surprisingly flavorful and original presentation! HR is one of the reasons I married “Mamacita” 54 years ago–still a favourite breakfast for me. This version had crispy tortillas, shredded pork, black beans, and a sauce that was deliciously different from what I am accustomed to. My fellow diners had the traditional omelet, has browns, and toast breakfast. All looked delicious and fulfilling. Service as punctual and friendly. Don’t tell Mamacita that Iliked these HR… a lot! 😉

Started my day with an amazing breakfast at Sid’s Cafe in the Westgate Hotel, Las Vegas. The pancakes were absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The ambiance was pleasant and relaxing, perfect for enjoying a nice meal. Definitely worth visiting if you’re staying at or near the Westgate!

Breakfast was just what I wanted – diner style – hot, hearty portions and tasty. Scrambled eggs had a good flavor. Generous helping of mash browns with ketchup and several hot sauces on the table. Only complaint was the lights were a little bright! (If that’s all then that’s pretty good).

Tried Sids for breakfast as we were staying at the Westgate. Portions were a healthy size, shame the only coffee available was pot of instant but was still delicious enough, was not keen on the milk (half and half I think) when we poured it in one mug it seemed curdled but didn’t taste off. Drank the rest of the coffee black as we weren’t sure if it was normal as everywhere in Vegas seemed to serve half and half. We didn’t want to look foolish in asking and it didn’t put us off. The food was delicious. For a three egg omelette it was certainly fluffy and full. Good choice of breads for toast. The sourdough was amazing. Nothing like back home. Found the overall bill a little pricey but Singing Paul, he’s the best. He absolutely made our day and stood out for us at Westgate. If you try Sids, even just once for the experience try get singing Paul.

The food is very good and the place is nice.
It’s a shame the staff is so unpleasant. The person who showed us to our table was very friendly. But we were served by two different waiters (one brought us the drinks and the other the food), and it was the worst service we’ve ever had.
All the drinks were served to my husband at once, and he had to pass them around because the waiter couldn’t give each of us our drinks individually.
I wanted to ask about a drink promotion that was advertised RIGHT OUTSIDE THE RESTAURANT, and the woman replied in a very rude way, “It must be another restaurant, we don’t have that here.” Humans make mistakes, and I understand they might not be up-to-date with the promotions, but I didn’t even have time to show her the picture before she left. When they brought our food, I had to show her the picture, and she still said, “We don’t have that promotion.” Then it seems she asked someone and confirmed to the waitress that they DID have that promotion. She made me look like a liar by telling me no so many times, as if the sign for the promotion didn’t have the restaurant’s name on it. Terrible service!!! The food is delicious, but I wouldn’t return because of the staff.
Had I not insisted on the promotion that DOES exist, they would have charged me the wrong price for the cocktail.

Sid’s is located inside the Westgate Resort just next to the casino. Outside of the extremely high priced restaurants, Sid’s has the best food and the prices are reasonable. The staff is genuinely friendly and there’s generally no waiting.

White chocolate raspberry martini delish! I had the burger, real good. My friend had the salmon, said it was a little fishy. Atmosphere & service was great.

Food is excellent and so is the service. If you get the bottomless mimosas, do yourself a favor and ask for juices on the side, and they will bring a carafe for champagne and small carafes with orange, cranberry, and pineapple juice. If you’ve never had a pineapple/cranberry mimosa you’re missing out.
The service staff has been the same for the past 8 years I’ve been coming here, which is a good sign that they take care of the employees and have a low turnover rate.

Sid’s Café at Westgate Hotel and Resort was a disappointing experience for me. While the ambiance of the café is inviting, the food fell far short of expectations, especially considering the high price point. The dishes we ordered were underwhelming in flavor and lacked the quality you’d expect from a restaurant at such a prominent resort.
The presentation was decent, but the taste simply didn’t match up. Everything felt bland and uninspired, as if the ingredients weren’t as fresh or thoughtfully prepared. For the price we paid, I was expecting much more in terms of both taste and portion sizes. It’s frustrating to leave a restaurant feeling unsatisfied, especially when dining at a place that seems to market itself as upscale.
While the service was polite, it couldn’t make up for the lackluster food. I wouldn’t recommend Sid’s Café if you’re looking for a good meal to match the price. There are far better dining options in Las Vegas that offer both value for money and flavorful food.
