I haven’t ever done this, but I liked it so much, I went back the next night to eat there again! If you can, get their tartare, and order the polenta with whatever else is going to make you happy. Either (or both) salad and soup (creamy and flavorful squash soup! Amen!) will make you glad you chose them. The brisket is smoky and falls apart in the very best way. The scallops are tender and tasty. The dessert items and accompanying libations are a wonderful and worth it splurge. On your own, or a small party without a reservation? Try sitting at the bar, where the bartenders are ready with interesting conversation and insightful menu suggestions. 11/10 on a scale of 10.

I know it’s such a generic thing but I went in there not expecting a fancy restaurant and ended up ordering a burger . The wait staff were wonderful and the food was absolutely amazing. My girlfriend had the halibut and she really liked it. I personally recommend the lobster turnovers, the texture and flavors were just wonderful. The first time I’ve ever enjoyed a fancy restaurant! Had a wonderful time!

Everything about dining here is enjoyable from the moment you walk in. The interior is welcoming and charming. It feels like an occasion to be there without any stuffiness. The service is the same: excellent but not snobby. We tried the cheese & charcuterie, caesar salad, tomato salad, beef tenderloin, and halibut. All outstanding. Our dessert kinda stole the show, though, and we only chose it because our server weighed in on our decision. The peach cannoli option. Oh my goodness. I’m still not clear on every flavor I was tasting, which means we should come back and try it again, right?

Probably my favorite restaurant in the STL City area. Great menu, reasonable prices, exceptional service each and every time I visit. The beignets are to-die for, you must try them! Great wine list. The atmosphere is also great- it feels intimate and relaxing. You will have to park on the street (to be expected in the city) but I’ve never had any issues. Try it once, bring another couple and become regulars!

Wow! What an amazing experience. The lobster turnover – savory – brisket – juicy and tender – rigatoni – al dente, creamy and absolutely delicious – creamed corn – yummy! – mushroom toast – speechless. A+ service, thank you Mika! Cannot wait to dine here again when I’m back in STL.

My husband and I visited here last night for our anniversary and as I’ve heard, it’s def one of the most romantic restaurants in St. Louis. The price is high, but if you’re looking for somewhere special to celebrate your special day, this is a good option. Everyone was really nice and friendly. They offered us a free dessert for our anniversary. I would love to visit again in the future.
