Went there tonight for my brother’s birthday. The staff was incredible and very accommodating as well as attentive to our needs. The chef was very entertaining and extremely skilled. The food was outstanding. Such a fun environment to have a nice dinner. The management has this place running like a well oiled machine and extremely friendly. I highly recommend this establishment for anything from casual dinner, date night, co-workers and anything else you can think of.

A Benihana’s hates to see me coming!! Man I love dinner and a show. Our chef was fantastic and hilarous. He had our table laughing the whole time.
This food sent me into a food coma. I literally did not take any left overs because I licked my plate clean.

For drinks, we got the Blue Ocean and Cranverry Mojito. They were so good and got the perfect buzz going for the meal.

I ordered their A5 Wagyu steak. It reminded me of my time in Tokyo. My fiance ordered the teriyaki chicken. It was so so so so good. Literally melt in your mouth good.

But just course by course they absolutely killed it. The salad, miso soup, chicken fried rice and

My family visited Benihana for dinner on Christmas Eve with a reservation, and were immediately informed of a 30-45 minute wait upon arrival, despite showing up at reservation time.

Upon being seated, we were greeted by a friendly server who took care of us and made sure everyone was informed about the menu. She was quick to get drink orders, and we waited for our chef to come to our table.

Our chef seemed tired (understandable) but still did his best to entertain us — the food was excellent, especially the Wagyu steak. He didn’t talk nearly as much or bring as much energy as surrounding tables’ chefs, which was a big letdown, considering the price tag for a party of 5 to dine. But, given the holiday circumstances, our family still had a great experience. Another huge shout out to our server who was extremely hard-working, and even got a framed picture for our family. I wish I could remember her name!

Thank you, Benihana!

Vinny-You are genuinely one of those people who makes everything a little brighter just by being there. Your kindness, patience, and positive energy don’t go unnoticed, and the way you treat others with respect and care says so much about your character. People are lucky to have you in their lives, and the world is honestly a better place because of the heart you bring into it.

We have been coming to Benihana at least once a month for more than 25 years. While its often loud (as expected, especially on a busy Saturday night), this was the first time I have felt compelled to leave a review.

First, we had reservations and were actually fairly early, about 45 minutes ahead of our time. Instead of checking us in, we were told to leave and come back. When we returned, we checked in about 10 minutes before our reservation time, and still waited 45 minutes past that. When we finally sat down at our table, the first thing I noticed was several spots where something had dripped and baked on to the grill, apparently from the fume hood. Three spots were several inches in diameter and clearly got there after the grill had been cleaned. There was missed food still on the grill and front apron, and the insulation was coming out from under the front of the grill. There was an area on the back of the grill that was clearly dirty as well. I asked the server if the chef would clean it before they began, and she assured me they would. When our chef came out, he greeted us and then put oil on the grill to begin, without any attempt to clean the spots (probably 2″ in diameter, so very clearly visible) or the back of the grill. We stopped him and asked him to please clean the grill, which he did. He then proceeded to make our meal.

Most things were done correctly and tasted great, but there were egg shells in the fried rice, and one in our party had ordered her steak medium rare, but when it was placed on her plate it was clearly seared but still blue and raw. When it was suggested that she check to make sure it was done to her liking, she asked for it to be put back on the grill, which it was, but then replaced on the same plate, where it had been while still raw.

I raised concerns, away from the table, to the assistant manager. I showed him some pictures I had taken, even after the table was “cleaned” in front of us, and he mentioned that one of the pictures showed residual cleaning chemical in the bend of the grill. I specifically told him I did not want to make a big deal out of these issues at the table. He followed me to the table and took a look at the issues I had raised. He then apparently mentioned it to another manager who promptly came over and made the big deal out of it that I had been trying to avoid.

It will be quite a while before we will patronize this restaurant again, which is really disappointing, as it used to be one of our favorites.

Was honestly kind of disappointed. Service was great. The food was medium. Thought it was crazy they cut back their shrimp from four to three to save money?

I was the fifth wheel on this evening so the guy made me my own date which was the best part of the night. (Pic attached).

I just think you expect a little more from this destination

I used to love benihana but recent experiences made me stop going. The service I received at this location on this date was excellent. We got seated for happy hour in the lounge by the manager Travis. He made sure the highchair for my baby was freshly cleaned and sanitized. We ordered a few appetizers, sushi and hibachi rice for the table and everything came fast and fresh. Maybe because it was 3pm and we were the only table. The bartender, Tehya, served us. She was very pleasant and efficient and handled our requests accurately and promptly. I let her know that it was my niece’s birthday but because of the baby we preferred to dine in the lounge instead of the teppan tables. She still made sure my niece was celebrated with a dessert and song and then Travis came back over to offer a courtesy photo. This is the Benihana experience I know and love. Efficient and genuine hospitality! This experience may have saved Benihana in my eyes because I planned on never returning to another location but I’ll be back.

Zero stars! They flat out refused to honor the Power Lunch special. As stated on the website we notified the hostess that we were interested in the Power Lunch special and was rudely told that it wasn’t available. I then explained I called the day before to ensure that they were in fact participating as it was a 30 minute drive for me, when I spoke to them the day before they first said he needed to double check with the manager because of Valentine’s Day, he got back on the phone and said yes the Power Lunch would be available all week except for Friday. We arrived on Wednesday at 11:30 am the hostess, and whom I believe was the manager were dismissive, argumentative and flat out rude! Telling me that I had to of been mistaken and called their call center that nobody there would’ve told me that. I showed them my call log and that the number I called was in fact the direct number to their restaurant. They continued to be dismissive stating they didn’t have the cuts needed to honor the special, which makes absolutely no sense. All while the manager was pushy trying to upsell to a more expensive lunch special. Will absolutely not return as I feel they knew full well what they were doing, telling people one thing on the phone to get them in the door to charge them even more once they are there. Do better!!
