Had the chance to visit sidewalk asian now that places have opened up in Kiel! I was craving dumplings since a while and they had them which was the main reason I decided to visit. But I was so surprised to find out that everything else I ordered was also really yummy!!! They have vegetarian options if you don’t eat meat as well.

Spontaneous visit on a Saturday night. The place wasn’t crowded. The food is very delicious and didn’t take long to come. The place definitely has character, and a really nice atmosphere. The burguer was delicious! I would recommend.

That’s one portion for food which was just way toooo salty. The wanton was so chewy. I thought there’s more coming.
Because I paid 26.39€ for this.
I should’ve been more upset about how small the container is for 9-10€ soup, but even if there were more, I wouldn’t have wanted to finish it because food was terrible.
The “mochi” was also terrible and poorly packed. And that’s never worth 5€. I really couldn’t believe my eyes for what I’ve get from this place with 26 something euros.
Terrible terrible idea to order here.

The food is good, but the customer service is really bad. The guy who waitress there got mad at us because we told him that we wanted a different drink as the one he brought us and just decided to ignore us for the rest of the night. He went to the other tables to ask if they needed something or to pick up empty plates, or drinks… and with us he literally just turned his head to other side At the end the wife came and explained in a friendly way that it was bc the drink we ordered was finished but I think they could have say that at the beginning I think I wouldn’t come back bc of this experience 🙁

I loved the food, tried vegan as well as seafood. We spent a long time here and didn’t even realise it. It can seem a bit cramped up at times when crowded. But I think it’s a very cozy restaurant for non-covid times.
Love the seafood mi noodle soup.
