Sidetrack is almost always hopping, and understandably so. The food is delicious and affordable. We shared reuben egg rolls as an appetizer and they were so dang good! My dad had the fish and chips. He just came back from England and said the fish and chips were just a good as across the pond. The decor is great–it’s almost like a museum with cool old-timey artifacts, but it looks well curated.. This is a great place to take anyone, whether it’s family and friends from out of town, or a date. The menus is extensive, so everyone will find something they like to eat. Definitely stop in!

I really enjoyed dinning at the Sidetrack Bar&Grill. I loved the railroad themed decor and the waitress was top notch. I had the Kevin bacon burger and my wife had the fish&chips. The food was really good with reasonable prices. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great atmosphere old train station feel, delicious foods from amazing burgers ( ranked very high ) to slow Roasted Pot Roast and incredible Desserts, like Carrot Cake and Bread Pudding – definitely worth going to, we’ve been back three times and we travel quite a distance just to come here for the food and atmosphere

Burgers were amazing as always, the deluxe and the steakhouse burger. Fries are hand cut and fresh, brownie Sunday was insane, and the chili was perfect. Always a great stop.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibes of Sidetrack really fit depot town. They have a lot of really cool details when you look around and they do a great job decorating for Holidays.

The service is always pretty great and the waitstaff is very nice and polite and gives the right amount of attention to the tables. When asked they give great recommendations on their menu.

They have great “bar food” , all of the burgers are on their menu are amazing. Many of the appetizers they have are delicious. For a starter we got the Mac eggrolls and they were incredible. Highly recommend! This time we got the Portobello burger, Salmon, and the Mac n Cheese. Everything was good. The salmon could have had a tad bit more of seasoning but was cooked incredibly well. The Mac and cheese was good and the penne noodles make it very interesting.

Overall, we love coming to eat here when we go to Ypsilanti and would recommend.

Decided to check out this trendy looking joint while visiting Ypsilanti, Michigan. Situated in a vibrant area the decor is so classy, clean and diverse. I had the Amtrak Double-decker Cheeseburger. The food was fantastic and generous in portion and price. You can get pub style fries and you will love them. Funniest part of the visit is an actual Amtrak train blew by the restaurant, hence the name. I think that added to the experience! Staff was efficient and kept a very busy place rolling. Check out this jewel.

My son from Detroit recommended going to Ypsilanti and walking the area. We decided to eat at the Sidetrack Bar and Grill, and I am glad we did. Rich in decorations and just a classic place to hang out, have a beer and eat a good meal. Great service from start to finish. I had the sliders which were amazing. Our party of 5 enjoyed all our food and we were well taken care of. For dessert, we had the bread pudding, very tasty. If you are touring Ypsilanti and are hungry or thirsty, stop in and enjoy the Sidetrack Bar and Grill.

I loved this place! We had 20ish people and were given this quaint lil room that was so lovely! It was a great atmosphere with very timely service and attention to our needs/ wants. We made reservations a few days ahead as we were attending the Crowder concert just down the street. We were also pleased to see other concert goers there. And food was yummy, goes without saying!

Great little spot for dinner and drinks, or just drinks if you’re coming from another spot close by.

We tried both the BBQ Pork and French Dip sliders. I preferred the pork ones, but they were both delicious. The fish and chips was tasty as well, but we didn’t care for the potato wedge version of the chips you see in the pic (the thick cut fries that came with the sliders were better).

Check their website for happy hour deals and specials, some of them make you think the year is 1999 again.

Wow, Ypsi got a gemstone here forreal

Menu is basically (the definition of) “scrumptious”! It includes filling meals, and offers huge appetizers, salads, soups and desserts.

My order included Fish & Chips, (with the choice of circle cut fries) and the Pretzel Ham & Swiss. Second person bought the Harvest Salad & one Burger Deluxe.

The Chefs put out some BIG stuff. Like.. look at the fries! I was so full.
It tasted great! Even other people’s food looked good. It’s pretty well made, pub – lite comfort food.

I like that the customer service felt friendly and focused on your experience. Staff were so on top of checking in, and getting everyone help whether to dine in or on the patio.

When filled up capacity indoors, the place gets kinda loud. Yet: their service + the menu is Top. Tier.

Out of other surrounding places, Sidetrack is a great choice to have good food. This place is awesome.
