The Sidebar Cafe is co-owned by husband and wife team (Joshua and Michelle Gregory). We are located in the Citizens Bank Building Lobby Area. We offer delicious breakfast and lunch fare, specializing in breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, hot & cold coffee creations, fresh fruit smoothies, hot & cold subs, wraps, soups, stews, chillis, homemade pastries, snacks and grab-and-go items. We also offer low carb, vegan, and keto-friendly breakfast and lunch options. We pride ourselves on fast, clean, friendly service and our prices are the lowest in the Downtown Wilmington area. Great place to grab a bite in Wilmington, DE! It’s located in bank building lobby but it has great vibes and quick service! My sausage, egg and cheese was perfection on the homemade sourdough bread! The strawberry crunch pound cake was ridiculously good and the coffee was fresh! The owner Michelle was sweet and had stickers to choose from. Order at counter or kiosk which is convenient.

I was truly blown away by this spot.
It’s a wife and husband duo that runs the place & they are just a breath of fresh air. ❤️
First of all the customer service is outstanding. From the moment I walked in I felt extremely welcomed! The wife was very patient with me & extremely helpful. She asked if it was my first time & when I said yes she automatically started guiding me through menu items and answering all questions I had.
She even pulled out a slideshow for me to look at while I waited! Then she told me to choose a sticker, she had the cutest little variety of stickers to choose from.
I told her I needed caffeine, so she suggested adding extra espresso to my caramel frappe. I’m glad she did because it was fantastic that way! Tasted creamy, just the perfect amount of sweet and delicious. My breakfast sandwich was wonderful also, you could most definitely tell how fresh every ingredient was!!!
Everything was so good that I even went back in and grabbed something sweet, a mouth watering slice of homemade biscoff cookie butter pound cake! YUMMM!!!
The atmosphere, service, food & drinks, sweet treats, conversation I mean everything about this cafe was a 10/10!!!!
If you’re in the area definitely check it out, you won’t regret it at all!!!

This was a gem of a stop on our journey home to Maine. We stopped in for coffees, salads, and sandwiches for our train ride. The owner and Milo were quick and efficient at making our order. They were great about making sure that every detail was just right! If we come back to Wilmington we will definitely be stopping in again!

I come here almost daily! I love the welcoming atmosphere and how they remember my fav things!! Their food is absolutely amazing and definitely made with love! I tell everyone who will listen about this place and will continue to brag about them. They’re fast, friendly and their food is amazing! I would recommend this cafe to anyone and everyone!

If you haven’t been to Sidebar Cafe. You should run over there. The food is amazing and the service is outstanding. I had their Avocado toast on the Homemade Sourdough Bread and their signature smoothie.

Absolutely love this café. It is black owned by a family and everything about the experience will be personable. The owners are retired teachers, and they bring some beautiful teachings and habits, such as the adult stickers and emotional support plushies! They will make you feel at home and the food is wonderful especially for the price range. They have homemade sourdough products, very lovely smoothies, and so many other products that’s hard to get at places. They even have wrap alternatives such as a green and sun-dried tomato wraps. Would recommend anyone 10 out of 10!
