The staff is gracious, friendly, and accommodating to a fault. Their table service is prompt and professional, and there’s always a server or busser walking around to clear empty plates or refill glasses immediately.
And the food is just DELICIOUS. This trip, Carrie ordered their specialty, a carbonara pasta served tableside with a flaming cheese wheel. You know how when you pull up a forkful of pasta you kinda shake off the excess until it’s a polite bite before winding it? Don’t bother with this dish, the cheese and sauce is so thick it won’t separate like that.
And my ravioli Portobello was equally scrumptious. Tons of flavor and genuine sauce, not something out of a can or jar. Buttery smooth and perfectly cooked.
Portions are what you’d expect for a more upscale place. Don’t plan on leaving with leftovers. It would be a crime to reheat this food anyway.
Our server Noah was attentive and polite. The food was very good. My dad loves chicken Parmesan and said this one is top of the list!
The pizza was so delicious and the cheese was creamy. We tried the olive oil cake and that was delicious! Definitely recommend trying Silcia Mia!
From the moment we sat down, the service, atmosphere, and attention to detail were on a completely different level. We started with the bruschetta, fresh and beautifully presented, and it set the tone for the night.
I ordered the carbonara, and even without a picture, let me say this clearly: it’s the best carbonara I’ve had in my entire life. It’s prepared table-side by our server Ethan, and the performance alone is worth coming in for. Not a gimmick — real Italian technique, executed perfectly. My date had the burnt butternut pumpkin squash ravioli, and it was exceptional. Rich, balanced, and crafted with real skill. We split a dessert at the end, and even that was memorable.
The staff here is on another level. Our server delivered a 10-star performance on a 5-star scale — professional, warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. Then the regional manager came over, introduced himself, shook my hand, and personally made a reservation for us at their other location for next week. You don’t see service like that anymore.
Dinner was about $121 before tip, and honestly? Worth every single dollar. This isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience, one built on pride, heart, tradition, and world-class hospitality.
We will absolutely be back. This place is something truly special.
Our waiter, Katelyn, was exceptional: attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better.
One important note: the floors were very slick, and someone in our party—who is paralyzed and using crutches—slipped and fell. It would be great to see this addressed to ensure guest safety.
Overall, a wonderful dining experience with excellent food and service.
We were given bread service and offered a variety of waters. I ordered the take on linguine and clams, my husband got their ribeye, and we shared the octopus.
The pasta was house made and was thick. The sauce it came with was also a very creamy, decant, butter sauce. I enjoyed it throughly. My husband enjoyed the flavor of the ribeye. He did regret getting the full serving of butter on the steak though. The octopus was flavorful, but it could have been a bit more tender. I really did enjoy the sauce it came with though.
All in all, we thought it was worth the money we spent. I would come back and try something new, if we ever come back to Salt Lake City.
