This place surprised me. From the outside, I am not going to lie it looked like a dive bar hole in the wall. Once you are in the atmosphere is great, very classic looking, and relaxing. The food was delicious and perfect for a sit-down style Sichuan dinner or lunch.

Walked in around 6pm and was not kindly greeted. Person at the front desk reacted as if he had never seen a black man before and continued to raise his voice at me simply because I asked why they did not have an evening time combination plate. It was my first time at this restaurant and I was unaware of their menu. The manager came when he noticed his employee barking at me. He was kind. I don’t consider this an establishment that puts their customers first.

This place never disappoints. We’ve been ordering from here for years and have tried just about everything on the menu. Now the hardest part is deciding what to order because we have far too many favorites to choose from. For those used to New England style Chinese food, branch out and sample something new. You will not be disappointed.
