Dined here earlier this month (2/06) with my significant other. We’ve always wanted to try Sibley’s. We drive by it all the time here on Iron Bridge Road. After the ice from this month’s snow storm started to melt away, we figured it was a good time to finally check it out.
The decor and atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a BBQ place, very homey and welcoming. Our server was very nice and attentive throughout our entire stay. I ordered the Souther Fried Pork Chop platter with string beans/tomatoes and mac & cheese, it even included a side of hushpuppies, and the missus got the Pulled Chicken Sandwich with baked beans and fries. We both enjoyed our plates, and feel that the portions were appropriately priced. 10/10 would recommend.

Me and my family were here from florida and when I tell you i’ve never had bbq so good! (We eat bbq often) The meat was tender, best onion rings i’ve had (i’m serious), the mac and cheese was flavorful. Our server was great, didn’t have to ask for refills when the drinks got low & another server even gave our 2 toddlers an ice cream sandwich cookie for free! We paid $50 for 2 adult meals with 2 sides each and a drink each, a kids meal with a drink, an additional kids drink & an apple cobbler dessert with ice cream. Well worth it, wish this was in Florida!!

They were sticky, sweet, with just the right kick of spice to keep you reaching for another. Perfectly cooked and glazed to perfection.
The rib platter was fall-off-the-bone tender and deeply flavorful, while the pulled pork was soft, juicy, and full of smoky goodness. Every bite felt like a hug from the pitmaster himself.
The portion sizes here are no joke. We left with a mountain of leftovers that somehow tasted even better the next day. And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, we were talked into the cobbler dessert. Let’s just say it made me reconsider everything I thought I knew about being diabetic. Worth every bite, and then some.

My family and I have drove past this restaurant for years, and we finally decided to give it a try a few days ago. The staff were very nice but the food was ehhh. The Mac and Cheese tasted boxed, and had an Alfredo like texture. The pulled pork sandwich was also ehhh, the bun and meat were bland. The sandwich also wasn’t very hot and seemed like it had been sitting out for a long time. I never add sauce to my pulled pork but I put a lot on there!! The sauces were actually pretty solid. The fries were probably the best part, they were very crunchy but didn’t have any seasoning. (not even salt or pepper) The fries could be amazing if they had flavor. To top things off, my mother and I both ended up with a stomachache. Not even 20 minutes after eating, she was experiencing extreme pain. The restaurant also did not have music playing, so you could hear other people’s conversations.
My mother payed around 20$ which is a pretty good price. I would recommend if you are on a budget but otherwise, I would not advise anybody to come here. I will not be returning.

A great selection of main courses and sides, reasonable portions and prices. We each ordered the 1/2 rack ribs with hush puppies and two sides. Ribs fell off the bone and I had to order an extra side of mac & cheese after we started our meal because my dinner mate kept eating all of mine! I look forward to visiting again and trying the catfish and pulled pork BBQ sandwich. The staff was super friendly and attentive and our meal came to the table quickly.

Delicious BBQ that hit the spot. My company and I order the jumbo pulled pork sandwich and the regular pulled pork sandwich. They both came with 1 side, the baked beans were excellent and I got the Mac n cheese, which was homemade with heavy whipping cream, white cheeses and yummy. At the table they have their homemade sauces if you want to put it on your bbq. The sauces range from North Carolina vinegar, Virginia red sauce and their sweet and spicy sauce. The waitress was kind and attentive. She definitely deserved the gracious tip we gave her. If you have a hankering for bbq definitely go here. Enjoy, like we did!

We enjoyed the food at Sibley’s Bar-B-Q but if I’m going to be honest, Virginia isn’t known for stellar Bar-Be-Que so there’s not much to compare it to locally. Good service and nice atmosphere to go with it. Only one complaint, they don’t serve alcohol! Bummer but not a deal breaker.

One of the best BBQ spots I’ve been to that has great food with good portions and fair prices. Never disappoints. If you have an opportunity to try their specials, do so; they are available for a limited time but worth it. At the time of this review, they had Brisket Street Tacos (which I had) and other specials that were hard to decide over. Hope your experience was as good as mine – Cheers.

Hubby and I always pass here and decided to drop in. We got seated quickly. We ordered the popping pork rinds very good. Hubby got brisket and I got catfish. Our server was so friendly and attentive. We’ll be back again.

First time here, will not be my last! I got the Meatloaf special dinner to go, holy cow I am so happy! The pictures don’t do it justice, I wish you all could smell and taste how good this food is. The meatloaf was tender, but juicy enough that you only had to dip a little if you like gravy. For me, it was dunk! I loved the brown gravy.
Oh it came with three hush puppies, they were so good, I actually dunked them in the vinegar sauce that came along with the brisket meal, so good!
Over all, great meal, great service, great place, what more can you ask for. To the owners and workers, thank you all for a great meal and service, definitely will be back.
