Visited first time on a Sunday evening and was lucky to get entertained with amazing live music which definitely created a lovely ambience! The thai food was good portions and reasonably tasty for pub food. We had the starter platter, noodles, massaman curry to go with two bowls of fried rice all for roughly £60 for two people.

This review is about the restaurant inside the bar, not the bar itself.
The service from Siam Thai was genuinely terrible. Menus were placed out as if food service was available, yet when we tried to order we were told the kitchen wasn’t ready. We were told it would be 20 minutes, so we waited, only to then be told it would be another 20 minutes.
If the kitchen isn’t ready to serve food, don’t put menus out inviting customers to order. It’s basic organisation and basic common sense.
What made the situation worse was the attitude of the server when delivering the message, unnecessarily rude and dismissive. Instead of a simple apology or clear explanation, it felt like customers were being treated as an inconvenience.
A completely avoidable situation caused by poor organisation and very poor customer service.

Really, the Three Wishes pub should have a separate listing from the Thai restaurant as they are separate businesses in the same space.
First, the pub. At 6 on a Saturday evening it was packed with people watching sports on the many large and loud tv screens. The landlord was working very hard and efficiently; one of the other staff was good, the other not so much.
The range of beer and the prices were not great, especially in comparison with Wetherspoons.
The food is Thai. You take a menu and when you’ve chosen you ring a bell on the wall and somebody comes from the kitchen to take your order. We had the combination starter, which was good and quite large. My wife had prawn pad thai, which she liked, saying the prawns were plentiful and juicy. I had a stir fried beef dish which was also good, not as spicy as some Thai restaurants. £48 without drinks.
I think it’s a very good place to eat if you like this sort of pub. If you are thinking of going for a quiet Thai meal, you’ll probably want to go elsewhere.

A place we have been wanting to check out for a while and it did not disappoint. The papaya salad and pad thai noodles were lovely. The family enjoyed the massaman curry alongside the chicken satay and veggie spring rolls. We will definitely be coming back

After being a regular customer here for years I’d never had too many issues, the food was always great although some issues with service at times being very slow but I’d taken that as “it is what it is” because me and my family enjoyed the food, this is also baring in mind they charge a ridiculous 12.5% service considering the bar is separate, you have to get your own drinks yourself from the bar and you have to get up and ring a bell for them to take your order. I still paid the service as I was a regular there and had been for some years. This one time I went with my sister we ordered our usual order we do every week but this time I was charged for an extra tipping sauce that already comes with the starter included. Our food came at completely different times even though we ordered exact same main and after 45 minutes after eating our starter my sisters main finally arrived which she couldn’t eat as her lunch break was now over and she had to get back to work. For the first time ever , after years of being a loyal customer I disputed the service and additional sauce that was never eaten or asked for. The waitress (who was always very nice) went to get the owner. She came towards me to challenge my choice with such aggression and attitude! it was vile how she spoke to me! Over a mere £6 for service and dip she spoke to me like dirt. I didn’t want to pay it out of principle, in hope they’d improve for they’re regulars in future. She was nothing but Aggressive and rude. I felt so upset that I’ve been putting money into the pockets of a business that has such little respect for they’re customers , especially customers that spend weekly. Thousands of pounds spent in that place to be treated like trash over somthing that was completely they’re fault. A simple “I’m sorry , next time will be much better” would of been fine, I didn’t want anything free or hand outs , just the respect and service loyal customers deserve.I always gave them the benefit of the doubt with they’re terrible service but now I know that the owner is actually an awful person I will be glad to never enter that pub/restaurant again. I hope they’re happy they’ve lost my custom and my families custom over £6 and they’re ego. They will never see us again and it is absolutely No way to run a business with no respect. Absolutely shocking.

Curry and pint, does it get more British that that! hidden restaurant in a pub. You have to press a bell to place your order. Once you order you will get table service if you are eating in or take away. Efficient service and reasonable quality food. The portion could be bigger though.

We went here for a dual birthday celebration, as this place was recomended to me by a few people, and to say it did live up to its reputation. The jungle curry was on point, hot as it should be, everything else was brilliant as well, espcially the beef salad, overall it was great, with good staff and service.

The food was decent, place was not very clean, and the service was really poor. Staff showed no friendliness at all, and the restaurant didn’t offer any hot or room-temperature drinks — only cold ones. There were three of us, and we each ordered a bottle of water from the restaurant, but since they were all ice-cold, I couldn’t drink mine. When I brought my own room-temperature water because I wasn’t feeling well, I was told it wasn’t allowed. Very unfriendly and unaccommodating. If I could, I’d give zero stars.
Replying to the rude and dishonest response:
I am extremely disappointed by your response. Claiming I should “stay home” because I wasn’t feeling well is inappropriate — I never asked for healthcare, only to buy a hot drink. Your staff in the bar refused to sell any, so I brought my own water, even though I had already purchased three bottles from your restaurant. Please stop portraying me as an unreasonable customer. This dishonesty and unprofessionalism is unacceptable.
I also witnessed your staff sweep leftover food onto a chair while tables still had dirty dishes. Claiming the restaurant is “clean” under these conditions is misleading.

Friendly local pub, the only one in Northwood, where you will receive a warm welcome from the staff and formidable landlady Jennifer. Excellent authentic Thai food – the Tom Yum soup is to die for. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing.
