Every dish is crafted entirely in-house, inspired by the authentic recipes he grew up with—lovingly passed down from his grandmother and parents. From traditional techniques to heartfelt flavors, our menu reflects the true spirit of Spanish home cooking brought to Dallas with pride and dedication.

We ordered the seafood paella, Iberico jamón, fried okra, and draft beer — all excellent. The octopus in olive oil was a bit overcooked, to be honest, but everything else more than made up for it. The house-made ice cream at the end was especially memorable.
Our server, Jaoo, was outstanding. Super attentive without being intrusive, quick on cues, efficient, and genuinely kind. Service like that really elevates the whole experience.
Si Tapas is one of those rare Dallas gems that feels like it was lifted straight out of Spain and tucked quietly into Uptown. The restaurant is set inside a converted home, which gives it an intimate, cozy vibe you just can’t fake. It feels hidden in the best way — like you’re in on a secret everyone else walks right past.
The tapas are beautifully done, the wine list is legit, and the staff has that warm, effortless service that makes the night flow. Whether you’re out for a date night, catching up with friends, or just want to escape the typical loud Uptown scene, Si Tapas nails it every time.
If you’re looking for a place with charm, character, and truly delicious small plates, this is it. One of my favorite tucked-away spots in Dallas.
Maybe it was a bad night, but we may have had the worst service we’ve ever seen. We were seated and left alone for 40 minutes. We were confused about how the menu worked and were given rude/ brusque answers. When asked to be given a minute to decide, he (our waiter) gave us a disgusted look and then left us alone for ANOTHER 50 minutes. When I went up to ask the front lady if we could get our order taken whenever they were free, she was also rude with me.
Look, I generally am not one to complain. I dislike Karens and will brush most things aside. I understand dinner service can be tiring and stressful, so know I will only point things out when they’re especially egregious (feel free to look through my other reviews if you want proof). I’m saying this not to demean what seems like a good place with genuinely good food, but to encourage grace, especially with first time customers that are trying to enjoy their night without making things harder on staff.
Please practice kindness as a default, and I will try to do the same. Maybe I was an annoying customer asking questions. I do wish this restaurant the best and once again will say that this may have just been a bad day and we are all allowed those.
The Sangria is the best in town, hands down, and the Seafood Paella is unmatched. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor every single time. We came with friends this past Saturday for dinner, and once again, Si Tapas exceeded expectations.
A big shoutout to Carlos, who made our evening extra special with his attentive and friendly service. He turned a great night into a memorable one.
If you’re looking for authentic Spanish cuisine and a warm, festive atmosphere, Si Tapas is the place.
I miss Si Tapas so much!! I hope you enjoy!
