The story of Sí Señor started in 2010 when Guillermo Perez and Christell Gozzer, originally from Lima, Perú, had the idea of opening a sandwich shop with a Latin flare. Everything would be made from scratch, using the best and freshest ingredients. Meats would be roasted in-house, sauces and desserts would also be homemade. This concept would be a great addition to their community since nothing was like it. This initiative led them to test the venture by doing a few festivals around Columbus and participating at the Pearl Market on Tuesdays and Fridays during the summertime. As a Latino, this food is amazing. I used to get it all the time before I moved to the Cinci area. I visited today, and it was as delicious as ever. I would be a regular if they expanded to Cinci..or right on the other side of the river in northern KY..lots of $$ to be made there!

These Peruvian sandwiches bring in a mix of flavor that I had not tried before. The chicarron was an amazing blend of goodness in my mouth. Check the hours because one of the locations only opens during lunch so make sure to be there at the correct time. The owner was there and served me personally, he was super nice. They have some traditional Peruvian sandwiches and some more popular items as well. I say be adventurous and try out the chicharron sandwich. Amazing!

Sandwiches were well seasoned and well prepared. I had the chicharron (pictured) and jumping beef and both were great options. The sandwich did run a little smaller than what I had in mind. Fast, friendly service and you won’t regret getting a tasty sandwich for lunch.

I want to compliment this restaurant and their servers! I have heard good things about this place; I don’t come to the office a lot, I work near the area. I only had an early 30 min lunch (starting 10:45 am), so I ran to Si Señor to try it for the first time. I wasn’t aware of the schedule of the store, so I entered the place and everything was empty and I saw some workers in the kitchen. I waived and a nice lady came upfront and said “We open until 11:00 am, would you like to sit and wait?” And I responded “I didn’t know that, I might come another day” and she said to me “I can take your order”. I got an special turkey sandwich and a bottle of water; the sandwich was really good and was the highlight of my day. I was the only customer there, and when I left there were 2 people waiting already. This place is really popular! I am not suggesting customers to arrive before they open, but I do want to extend my gratitude for taking my order early and being super nice about it. If I would have waited I would have missed my lunch.
