I haven’t been to cold stone in years and we decided to go we looked at the menu before hand and didn’t realize the one we wanted they don’t have. Mind you store was empty and they had 3 employees. They were also very pushy after each item “that’s it” I had to say we are getting a couple ice creams. We were the only customers and they kept rushing us and making faces. The cashier was rushed didn’t even guide me with where to enter my number and seemed annoyed. She threw my change at me didn’t even apologize and walked away. They didn’t even thank us or have a good night. I say for working in customer service they are in a bad job I suggest they find a new job if they can’t even be friendly. Yet they still expect a tip nope sorry not going again. I hope Management/owners fix this issue. No common courtesy or respect.

This is probably the worst place you go to get ice cream. First of all, the staff was extremely rude. They all had horrible tones and sighed and rolled their eyes constantly and to EVERY customer. Second the pricing. 10 dollars for a small cup of ice cream is insane. Don’t come here, just go to your local target and buy two pints of Ben and Jerry’s and I promise you will get better service and ice cream. Not to mention when my ice cream was given, it was already half melting, but not just mine, the customer before me also had their ice cream like half melted by the time it was in the cup. It was a soup when I got home, I live two minutes away. Worst service, worst quality, and worst price.

So me and my partners ( I’m in a polycule) really wanted to go try out this place , but when we got there it was something from a horror movie … the staff was so incredibly rude and the ice cream was mid for the pricing. So here I am right, with my boyfriend watching my favorite youtube channel, “The Other Channel”, and they are doing a draft of the most yummy ice cream sundae. Suddenly my partner turns to me and exclaims they want ice cream now because of the video. So! I suggested we go to our local Cold Stone Creamery because we had never went…BIG MISTAKE! Not only were the people working there very rude, but just the general vibes were off here. They made a fuss about the dog that was in my jacket for the 5 seconds we were in the store. And finally the last nail in the coffin was the pricing, I could go to Target and grab two pints of the most expensive ice cream there and I still wouldve paid less then what I paid here for our ice cream. We paid 20$ for 2 small ice creams that just doesnt seem to make any sense what so ever. So you better believe my boyfriend and I will be getting ice cream elsewhere from now on.

I ordered an ice cream “Birthday Cake” from Cold Stone Creamery in Orcutt. I received the most hideous “cake” I’ve ever seen. It was a total disaster! See photos. It was poorly done. It looks like it was made last minute. It was messy and the ice cream was MELTED when I picked it up! It’s as if it was sitting out on the counter all morning. I threw it away. What a waste of money.

So far, all three times I’ve been here they haven’t mixed the ice cream with the toppings. I order same thing every time, Germanchocolatekake in a dipped waffle bowl. This time not only was the ice cream not mixed but the chocolate on the bowl only thinly covered about .5-.75 inch of the top of the bowl. I’m used to it much thicker and more of it covering the bowl. As for mixing, hard to see but all the toppings are on the exterior of the scoop. Basically enough for it to stick together while they scoop it into the bowl.

Two orders, two huge issues in ordering and customer service.
First, calling the location is worthless. Either it rings until the phone company tells you they can’t come to the phone. Or they answer and are supremely unprofessional.
I just ordered on door dash and as a lifelong customer of Cold stone, I can tell that there was no where near the double mix ins I ordered.
Cant call the shop to talk to a manager. Even if you go in to the store, the employees won’t point you to a manager or help you get in touch with anyone.
It’s easier to buy of the shelf than to think these people will get their act together and do you right

The staff was friendly and willing to help with available options. I’m from out of town and went in for an impromptu birthday cake. The selection for pre-made cakes was very limited (as seen in the photo). The place was dirty and location was empty (except for one man other than myself) during my entire visit.

I ordered a custom made Mud pie combination with coffee ice cream, brownie, caramel, topped with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. Delicious! The staff, Angie, was very accommodating, and helpful. Can’t wait to come back with my kids!!
