Friendly staff. Chips are warm and crisp, tasty sauce with a little twist. The price on lunch menu is close to the peasant price. Food served hot, from the stove to the table. Definitely recommended to all.

The food and service were great! We had fajitas, Zander special which is like a Steven special (meat, cheese and rice) and a nino quesadilla. Everything was seasoned well and was fresh. The salsa has just the perfect amount of spices and not overkill. The server was very attentive and friendly.

Came for a taco salad got a bowl of chicken soup in a salad shell ….keep trying to call someone picked up phone and hung up…..everywhere time rings 5 times goes to vm that says mailbox full….well I’ll tell u…..this food sucks it taste like shit….I wanted to eat my salad shell …Hell that’s the part I normally like best but like every other Mexican restaurant yall cant cook either especially chicken…its chicken not chicken soup in water to keep it moist cause u wanna reheat yesterday’s food …im not stupid I use to work in resturants…..im notifing the better business bureau ,the city counsel of wister , I.C.E. ,and I’ve called the health department with multiple code violations I came back and took pics of since u wouldn’t awnser the phone and made me mad. All I wanted was to talk to someone but nope…. he’ll the kid at the counter wasent even capable of counting the change back I had to count it to make sure not was right I asked him how much was there he said he didn’t know ….well if u cant count money and repost it back u shouldn’t be working in that position….I won’t be back and will do everything I can to get everyone I know to boycott this place and not come here

We stayed in a cabin at Wister Lake State Park and this place was recommended to us. The food is good (the cheese in the quesadillas is very delicious) and the food was out in no time flat! The restaurant was about empty when we arrived at 4 pm; business picked up a bit but service did not slow down. Our server was a little quiet and unformal, the booth cushions were a little thin, but nothing here was atrocious. I would come back!

We were camping at Lake Wister State Park and we asked a local resident for recommendations on Mexican restaurants in the surrounding areas. He highly recommended Si Senor. We will certainly pass on this recommendation to anyone in the future. The food was excellent and the service was great! I got the chimichanga and my husband got a rice dish with meat, peppers, onions and tomatoes. Our food was hot and very good. If we are ever in this area again, we will definitely stop by and eat here again! Thanks Jerald for your recommendation!

Our server, Lily was amazing. She handled our insane crazy family, a group of 20+) like a boss! Food was super good with great prices! And even with such a large group, they got the food out quickly and the majority of it was very accurate! When I go to Wister again next time, I will visit them again!

High quality and very flavorful. They truly care about what they’re making. We had been around Bentonville, Arkansas all week. This was better than anything we had in that area. The prices are cheaper than fast food. We will definitely come back.

This place is a hidden gem! I visit Poteau every 3 months every year to see my family. Though there are 3 Mexican restaurants in Poteau, I prefer this one because of the freshness of the meat and the taste of their dishes. I’m addicted to their steak dishes- get this: THE STEAK IS ALWAYS TENDER & JUICY AND MELTS IN BETWEEN MY TEETH. Plus I’m a chip fanatic and this place brings you the chips freshly fried and steaming hot, fresh and crunchy and the salsa is the icing on my cake! Oh and their fried ice cream is absolutely delicious. I rate this place 5 stars because the food is top notch like anything I’ve had around the area plus the restaurant looks very clean.
