This is the go to spot if you’re looking for a good tasting and fulfilling steak sub. Get a regular cheese steak sub or with the special in house sauce. Friendly environment and customer service. The only thing I didn’t like is using the soda machine because it was practically empty with a limited drink selection. It has no dining tables and chairs but plenty of spots to sit and wait on your food.

I was overwhelmed by how much I enjoyed my sausage and cheesesteak sandwich. The way was seasoned perfectly and was complimented with the toppings. Fair warning it was very messy but was fun eating as well. It’s cash only and they have a drink machine in the back that has a good variety of bottled beverages.

Best steakhouse i think in buffalo they where a little stingy with the sauce and lady at front was rude but overall the food was great. It’s in a very rough looking area in the town but worth it cause of the food but the people (workers/front lady) super rude.

I have never heard of Shys. I love a good steak hoagie though so was down to try them out. I’m glad I did, absolutely fantastic sub!! Warning it is messy but worth it. Steak was delicious, well seasoned and the sauce was on point. 10/10 would recommend.

Nobody likes to be compared to someone else. But at times you have no choice. Shy’s is very similar to Scotty’s, if you know then you know. So don’t hesitate to come down and get yourself a great sub. Be mindful, they may not answer the phone. If you have some time, you may find it easier to just come on down and order.
