Of all the third spaces out there, this one is up there on the list! A cafe and arcade is brilliant! Ambiance is retro gamer paradise with a cheeky menu that plays along with the theme. I had the brisket egg and cheese on everything bagel and it was probably the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a while! It’s quite a versatile space too. The front dining area is great for small groups. The arcade fits plenty of folks and there is a reservable space upstairs for larger/private parties. Hang out, get some work done, pay a few bucks to play some games for an hour, and grab a bite to eat – a perfect afternoon with some friends!

A cozy cafe in a beautiful railroad building. I stopped here while I was in the area for work, and I’m very glad I did. Amazing food; I got a Brisket Egg and Cheese on sourdough, and it may have been the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. I didn’t have time to check out the arcade, but I’ll definitely be coming back. Great atmosphere, I highly recommend visiting.

Really cool little place. Kids played arcade for an hour ($8 unlimited), and I got a coffee and a Nutella/Strawberry sandwich. We were the only customers on a Friday from 6:15-7:00. A few more came in after that.

A nice new addition to the Royersford food scene, with a unique twist of an arcade. They have throwback oldies (even a skee ball machine) plus a PS5, Switch 2, and more. I enjoyed the brisket mac-n-cheese sandwich and a smoothie. (Suggestion to the team: have on hand a BBQ sauce or two for the brisket.) Looking forward to going back for more food and games!

So glad this beautiful building is being put to good use! This is a great spot for families- the kids can play, the parents can hang in the beautiful upstairs space or get food in the cafe. The menu is really fresh and varied, and the prices are all reasonable. A great spot to take kids on a bad weather day, too.

Fresh food and drinks, and different vibes, depending on the day and time. The espresso drinks are delicious, and I had the lentil bowl, which was amazing. Edited to add the bacon egg and cheese or bacon egg sandwich on sourdough is great. Try the brisket too. You will be happy to check out this family-owned local business!

Great little place in an old train station. Lots of classic video games and the food is amazing. The make their own brisket and their own bread. The brisket was very flavorful and juicy. Maybe a little bit on the salty side but still very good. The coffee is very good as well. Definitely a nice stop on the river trail.

My husband and I absolutely love Shy Guys Coffee-R-Cade. We’ve eaten there multiple times and the food has always been fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can taste that things are made from scratch. The drinks are consistently excellent. Everything feels intentional and high quality.
It’s such a fun, welcoming space – whether you’re stopping in for a coffee, grabbing lunch, or spending time in the arcade. The retro games are such a unique touch and make it more than just a café – it’s an experience.
The owners and staff are incredible. They are kind, hardworking, and genuinely care about their customers and community. You can feel that this is a family-owned business built with heart.
We’re so lucky to have a place like this locally. Highly recommend!

First visit with my Godson who is a vintage video fanatic! He absolutely LOVED this place and intends coming back.
Price is right and although I didn’t have any food on this visit, but the portions seemed plentiful and I didn’t hear anyone complain!
Place is set up so you can bring the kids and they can have fun in the arcade area while you sit in the cafe or upper room (where it is quieter) and read a book or work your laptop.
It is worth a visit.
One recommendation – create a resale section and have vintage Play Station and other games for sale.
