Great and decently cheap food. It’s one of the more popular local spots in Homewood, which I don’t visit too often. They are known for their deep fried burgers and sandwiches, but I decided to go for a classic Swiss burger with their complimentary cheese fries.
The fries were pretty good. A bit soggy, not that crispy, though. I did like that the cheese sauce had a tad bit of kick to it. The cheese sauce was also pretty good. Covered the fries evenly although it did taste a bit artificial. Great portion for complimentary fries.
The Swiss burger was tasty as well. I believe the mushrooms they used are canned but still alright. It wasn’t too bready and the bun was fine, soaked up some of the meat. I thought the burger itself was somewhat overdone.
However, I really liked the sauces. This helped make the meat feel less dry and also made sure the burger had a good balance of savory and sweetness. They gave quite a few complementary sauces on the side, too.
All in all, a pretty good spot. The burger was standard but not bad. Great portion of fries, and they were pretty solid too. Good prices.

I saw this place on Facebook, everyone is talking about it! My friends were skeptical because of the area it is located. Nevertheless we went, AND IM SO GLAD WE DID!! The family that runs the restaurant are lovely people and the food is awesome I had the Shumans special. OMG steak shrimp and grilled chicken hibachi. It isnt possible to eat it all in one setting. I live across town and every since I make the 30 minute drive. Its a Must try.

I ordered via Uber Eats. I had a question about the menu so I called the restaurant but they did not answer. I was surprised when they called me back …when does that ever happen?! My order arrived exactly as I ordered it and they didn’t miss any of the sides. They have a huge selection of desserts and I got the sweet potato pie, it tastes like my 95 yr old grandma from Tennessee made it! Get the homemade healthy green tea drink, you won’t be disappointed! The portions are huge… but I’m most impressed with the more flavorable twist on traditional hibachi. ❤ keep it up. I found a new spot!!

I ordered 6wings and fries and my wings were old i felt they put them back into grease to make the chicken hot the meat was very dark inside some of it looked like it was Freezer burned inside I was unhappy for the second time the food is good but not fresh I had the hibachi there before and my rice was hard you can tell it was a day old and please don’t take this as being racist because I love all of us but us Black folks know when food is old especially chicken. Other than that the People there are amazing very pleasant

Soon as I walked in Greeted promptly with a smile let them know this was my first time and I heard so many great things about them they handed me a paper menu so I can look over and choose what I wanted to eat I ordered the fancy Hibachi and it was everything hyped up to be I live very close and will return to try their breakfast menu
