Stopped in with my boyfriend and had the french onion soup which was delicious!! Staff was friendly and attentive. My grandpa used to own the place years ago when it was Howard’s then changed the name to Shuler’s sold it and moved, so I always have wanted to visit and was able to on a trip back from Niagra Falls. Certainly an old school place and doesn’t look like the interior has changed since he left. But do not be deceived, good is all homemade and large portions. Would much rather stop here to eat than the chain restaurants in Watertown

Average Diner, serving up American style food. We ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger for lunch, with a side of Fries, and Sweet Tea. Surprised they brew their on Iced Tea, which was a real treat. Burger was cooked Medium Rare, which is what I usually prefer. Fries are average. There was plenty of seating available. Overall not a bad restaurant, would possibly return again if we are in the area.

This is the best meal I’ve had since I moved to upstate NY 6 years ago. Staff was amazing and I laughed so much I would come again just from the service. The meal was phenomenal. Everything made from scratch and amazing flavor. This will be my go to spot from now on.

1st time here. My wife and I absolutely would give this place 10 stars ⭐ if we could! Our dinner was absolutely delicious! Best prime rib and haddock we’ve ever had! Wait staff were friendly and great as well.. Bought dessert to bring back to our hotel room and must say they also have the best bananna cream pie as well!! Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed! We are definitely making our way back to this restaurant in the near future just to have dinner 2 hours away from home..

Salad was wilted iceberg, fries were obviously refried not fresh and burger was super dry and the cheese on it looked like a puddle of man sauce. I’d give zero or negative stars but that’s not an option.

Hadn’t been in a while, glad to see that they are open again. Prime rib was tender and done to perfection, the wife had the haddock Parmigiano and had to take half home. A hearty meal at a reasonable price. Definitely going back!!

Old-school, comfort foods, and great service. The family and I have been going to Shuler’s for many, many years. On a couple recent visits, prime rib, liver and onions, and barbecue beef were excellent. Sarah, our server, last night was great! I’ve never had a bad meal so here!

This food was absolutely amazing! We got the fried haddock, and prime rib. The prime rib was cooked to perfection. We were traveling through and stopped to grab a bite. There was a small wait to get us in with it being a busy Saturday evening, but worth it. It was also a great value! We will be stopping here again!
