I LOVE this place! The sushi is freshly made, the teriyaki is consistently delicious with big portions, and you can get a ton of food for cheap! I think this place is best for takeout. Always fast service. 🙂 Definitely stop by if you get the chance!

If you’re looking for quick sushi or a heaping helping of Teriyaki over rice, give Shuko a try. The staff is friendly and sincere. Despite the gaudy window signs, the interior is charming and spotless. The food is great, especially for the price, and the entire experience leaves you glad to support a new niche in the Midtown food scene. Clearly a Blue or Hiro 88 is date night material. Shuko however is a solid go to for a Sunday couch and Netflix Sushi craving.

The beef teriyaki and godzilla roll were awesome. Girlfriend enjoyed the cucumber and avocado cucumber rolls. The service was great and very friendly. The decor was simple and clean. An awesome addition to the neighborhood- we will be back many times!

This quick, casual restaurant has really good food, generous portions, and is very reasonably priced. I tried the beef teriyaki. The beef was tender and tasted fresh. The teriyaki sauce was light and only subtly sweet, which is how I prefer it to be. I also ordered the gyoza and miso soup. Both were surprisingly good. Everything I had was something I’d order again.

Old pre-made sushi, frozen food appetizers, all disposable plates/cutlery. The teriyaki was OK, but all I would order again is beef bowl with noodles.
