What a great concept – much needed in Buffalo. Fresh seafood outside along the river with a casual and almost “island” feel. The peel -n- eat shrimp smothered in old Bay seasoning were excellent and we loved the Reggae tunes. We will be back a few more times before summer ends.

Wife got food poisoning from the oysters unfortunately. The lobster rolls bread was stale. The seasoning/sauce on the lobster roll was super dry. The shrimp cocktail is your normal defrosted shrimp you find in a bag in your local grocery. Spent over $100 for 2 lobster rolls, a shrimp cocktail and a dozen oysters at a food truck. Cannot recommend. Nice view/location.

ShuckShack is one of the most fun places in WNY we love to visit in the summer! My husband is an Oyster connoisseur and has this on his Best of Buffalo oyster list. The atmosphere is always a happy vibe and we love seeing owner Mike bop around to everyone to say hello and check in on their experience. We love bringing the kids (ages 4, 2, and 1) too. Fun for adults but also kid-friendly which is a huge deal for families who still want to do cool things with babies in tow. We appreciate ShuckShack for its clever setup and location, fresh oysters, the owner’s incredible work ethic to make a difference in customer service, and the quality of the food. This space brings a unique vibe to Buffalo, which the city needs. My husband and I have lived all over the world- Australia, Los Angeles, Mexico, New York City, England…traveled to East Asia, New England, and must of the west coast (my husband even dove for oysters periodically) and make an attempt to try oysters every location we are at. He always enjoys ShuckShack because of the quality and freshness the owner seeks out to bring some of the best to Buffalo. We highly recommend going here with friends or family! ((Not Sponsored))
