What can I say here about an amazing local favorite spot?? Mmm absolutely fun atmosphere, great food after a day on the boat or just driving by. The staff is always friendly, drinks are always strong and the food is very fresh. The view on top of everything is stunning. Promise you will not regret it. Try the grouper Ruben sandwich. Oh and start with the New England Clam Cowder!! You can thank me later for this spot.

The crunchy grouper Reuben was really good. It is like a gourmet filet-o-fish. Yes, that’s a compliment. The service was great. The view was ok if you’re not from florida or other Atlantic water areas. Bryant was a very helpful server; he helped answer my questions for my first visit.

Our first time tonight and it was such a cute spot! The drinks were good, the service was attentive, the food was fresh and hot but the view was the main attraction. The “famous” grouper ruben was perfectly fried portion but was missing sauerkraut. My husband enjoyed the clams and oysters basket. We both had a cup/bowl of their delicious clam chowder and the flavor was soo good, I wish there were more clam pieces in it but the flavor was good overall. We will definitely be back.

We were lucky enough to sit outside on the water on a beautiful cool night. We had a short wait for table for 3. We sat at the busy bar while we waited for table. Unfortunately they were out of the premium wines on menu, the first 2 I ordered. But I picked a 3rd option. Our server at our table was excellent. Attentive, sweet, kept asking if we needed drinks when we did. Got us bread. Kept checking on us. It was a super busy Thursday night for this restaurant. Unfortunately the food was so disappointing. I got the fried oyster platter. It arrived lukewarm, almost cold. The breading was so extremely thick and heavy, not sure if any oysters were inside. My partner got a hot shrimp appetizer and his was also barely warm. The fries were cold. Our son ordered crunchy grouper and his was too hot to eat when served, which is what you want when your dinner is served. The coleslaw was good. Sadly, I was sick to my stomach all night and couldn’t sleep. All I could think about was the oysters being served not even warm. This restaurant seems busy enough that my review won’t affect their business. We will frequent other restaurants for future seafood dining.

Great Restaurant we had a few crunchy grouper sandwiches, a few fired captains platters and the Carribean Mahi plate blackened w rice. Great service friendly staff, they even helped me with ice after a productive charter with Catch Of The Day Sportfishing right out back.

Thank you Emily for making our day!! We took a ride from WPB with our dog on a whim and had never been here before, not knowing just how pet friendly they are! They have a doggie space & their own menu Punkin had a burger that she loved! The water view is so relaxing! Emily suggested the Bang Bang Shrimp so that’s what the hoomans started with. Drinks were reasonably priced. We had the Conch Chowder & Blackened Grouper with onion rings & cole slaw, both of us were quite content! No room for dessert. Highly recommend!! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!

This place is awesome!! We went with another couple and sat at the bar for happy hour. The drinks were good at nice prices. We ordered oysters raw and soup and fish tacos and it was all great and delicious The bar tenders were both very attentive and we had food chatter. I just love this place. Not a chain and a good locals spot on the water.

Our fish was cocked perfect, we loved it. The calamari also was delicious, fresh cook. We had Tito’s bloody merry and I have to say that drink was strong and good. For desert we had chocolate mousse, for that one, it was ok not my favorite of all the food. The day was beautiful with rain and we enjoyed being out seeing the boats passing by.

My cousin took me to Shrimpers for lunch where I had my first taste of Grouper. Shrimpers Grill and Raw Bar makes a fantastic Grouper Ruben sandwich. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere is extremely casual and laid-back. I really enjoyed the couple of hours. My cousin and I spent there having a wonderful lunch! If you’re in. Stuart, give Shrimpers a try.

We have been Shrimpers patrons for years and this was by far our worst experience. First I would like to say our waitress was WONDERFUL and so helpful. We arrived at 5:30 and put our name in. We were told 20-25 minutes which was fine. The restaurant was very busy at that time. We inquired on our place in line and were advised because impending weather they were closing the patio seating so it would be a few more minutes and that was fine. The next thing we knew we were seated on the open air patio they said they were closing. The sky was dark and we couldn’t understand why they would do that. Rather than sliding the table under the awning to get us out of the weather, they offered us what they said was a large booth. We moved inside and were taken to a booth that holds four and we were a party of SEVEN. My father in law had to sit in a chair at the end of the table while the rest of us were squeezed into the booth. We are not large people and It was so cramped. The waitress felt bad but that is where she was instructed to seat us. It was not a pleasant experience. The clam chowder which is usually thick and wonderful was thin and didn’t have much to it. My coconut shrimp didn’t look or taste like it usually did either. When our meals came all but one arrived. We waited about five to seven minutes for the last meal to arrive. It looked like a manager was the one that brought out the final meal. She apologized and asked if we needed anything else. We asked for honey mustard and she graciously agreed. We NEVER saw her again. Our waitress came to check on us and finally got the honey mustard after asking her. She was spread out because of us being relocated and she was doing a great job. She was the only positive of the evening. As a family that has been going here for years, we were seriously disappointed.
Well the “owner” asked me to email them regarding this review and I did just that. Sadly as I expected I never received a response. I only hope they listen to actual reviews and make adjustments. Sadly for me I believe my Shrimpers days have come to an end.
