I did not dine in I ordered delivery as I’m a trucker and services are limited … the chicken was good but I ordered a 3 piece dinner and only recieved 2 not sure they were whole pieces … I also ordered a 2 piece pork chop dinner however good they’d were very thin pork chops … I ordered potato’s and gravy for 2 sides, the gravy was so thin it wouldn’t stay on my potato’s, rolls or pork chops … door dash was fast and courteous…. I didn’t go hungry but I’m glad I ordered 2 meals that made up one

Today was some of the best I have had here in a while. Rice and beef tips, corn, dressing and gravy, all good! However, one thing I look forward to every time I come, is the friend okra. But today, it wasn’t cooked enough. It wasn’t crispy enough. It was too soft. And that was disappointing. The only other issue I had, was what was going on with the lady in the bakery area. Nothing against her, but I wasn’t exactly comfortable with seeing her chew her gum with her mouth open, possibly getting drops of spit in the food she was preparing. No problem at all if her mouth was close. But our server Holly was very friendly and made sure we had refills on time and dirty dishes removed quickly.

This place used to be so much better. They charge extra on Sundays because, as I was told, they serve foods like chitterlings and neck bones. The beef tips no doubt came out of a can. The food is sub-par at best. Definitely not going back especially for the price. Service was great though.

My husband loves a buffet and this place did not disappoint!! Lots of old-time country dishes to choose from….fried corn and fatback, hot fried catfish, hamburger steak and gravy. Then add the full salad bar and dessert bar…well worth the $38 price (for two plus drinks)!! They have the best fried chicken and sweet tea!! And our server was very attentive. Not very packed for a Saturday evening but still a good little crowd.

I ate here with a group of 35 on a tour bus. The service was great and they got us through in a flash. All of the servers and waitresses were very cordial and did a good job for all of us in getting us seated and our drinks.
There were plenty of choices of meats and vegetables, salads and deserts.
My wife and I tried a good many. Some were really good and others just ok.
Overall this is a good restaurant to eat at.
But you need to be very hungry.

I went to dinner with my daughter, granddaughter, and son-in-law. To be honest, Ole Times was a half-way from each other’s house bc neither of us no longer live in Macon. Everything at Ole Times was wonderful and I’ll surely go there again.

I love Ole Times Country Buffet and have eaten at most around the state. This one is as good as the others but is a little limited on the variety. Seems the ones in South Georgia have more on the buffet. However, don’t let that stop you – the country cookin’ is as good as it gets.

I am satisfied with my lunch at Ole Times. It is clean. They have a great selection of vegetables. Staff made things easy. I meet Savannah at the sweets section. She already had all the desserts organized. On the weekend it is like a bbq. They have ribs and pulled pork all at a decent price. On weekdays It is around $13 dollars with water

The green beans were hard, there was not a SINGLE clean plate, and every single fork was dirty. I did not like this restaurant. I do NOT recommend!! I also had to put wax paper on the plates because they were all dirty. The chairs barely supported my back and the ceiling fan above me looked like it was about to fall out of the ceiling and chop my head off. And the lights were kinda dim. I do not recommend this buffet. I went to golden coral and it killed my stomach so much I felt like my stomach was going to implode and I want to go there after coming here.

I’ve had multiple stops here just to be sure it wasn’t just a bad day. Every time they have shrimp it’s over cooked and mushy, hasn’t been cleaned with poop still. Not really any vegetarian options (I’m pescatarian for the nancys out there) because almost all of it is topped with meat or inside. So I end up getting a salad most times. Lastly a little flavor would be nice, to me it’s not given southern style cooking.
