This is a hidden gem, gotta stop by and ck out the food truck here….we tried the garlic shrimp and fish … delicious!!! The views are amazing and not crowded!! Seating available as first come first serve….these are the best places to visit, not a heavy tourist area. Beautiful day ❤️ ️

The best food truck in Oahu – I’ll be dreaming about this until my next trip back to this beautiful island. We ordered the spicy garlic shrimp – level hot, it tasted amazing with the rice. It’s so flavourful and rich in spices and so buttery. And we also ordered the steamer clams which was another hit, so damn garlicky- yummmmm. I’m not lying when I say – I’m definitely coming back for this food itself. Our hostess was a really sweet lady who helped us a lot while ordering the food.

We happened apon this ABSOLUTE GEM of a food truck while exploring towards the North Shore in Oahu. The service was as amazing as the food. We got the VIP seating and what a view to go along with such wonderful food! Sorry I didn’t get pic of the amazing staff/my thoughts are owners… You treated us as family and we felt that way. Sorry it took a month for this but I came home and hit the ground running.

Simple, yet delicious. They only take cash (there’s an ATM in the shop next to it, but it charges about a $4 commission). We had the garlic shrimp over rice — so simple, but so good! The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the rice mixed with garlic butter was so aromatic and filling.

People running the food truck are very outgoing and friendly.
The informal setup by the side of the highway or at the nearby beach gives you plenty of seating options while you enjoy your time dining. Even the slight rain couldn’t dampen the day.
A portable toilet and wash station is also available.
Ideal for all types of dining as long as you are ready to eat al fresco
A nearby cafe and a much beloved local community convenience store is also right next to the truck.

Been going here for 3 months now and I go once a week at least. I’ve tried multiple shrimp places and Shrimp Shack is definitely number one. They cook their shrimp so perfect that peeling them just falls off. Their flavor on the spicy garlic shrimp is my favorite, I get the lava which I think is best if you can handle spice. Always the nicest people taking orders, idk their names, but I’m actually going today and will ask! Besides having the best Damn shrimp. You can eat on tables directly on the beach which is amazing, you sit eat some amazing spicy garlic shrimp & steak with a cold drink right on the beach. Hard to beat that!
