Not fancy but nice warm atmosphere. A varied menu, easy to find something to eat, even if you’re vegetarian but maybe not vegan. A bonus was we had dinner on December 31st and when looking out the window during dinner we saw 12 to 15 Rose parade floats going by over the next 20 minutes with a police escort for the next morning. Fun!

This place is sooo cute! my family has lived here for 40 years and after many times driving by, today my mom and i tried it for the first time. the atmosphere is 10/10, so on theme and you can tell they put effort into decorating and detailing! the service was delightful, very polite staff and our food came quickly. it was quite lively, and the food was absolutely delicious! they have a wide variety of different foods and also many dessert options. i recommend the coconut shrimp and baked potato side. next time we hope to try more! please give shrimp house a try, it’s a hidden gem!

For overall family review kids do not like sea food. It’s not gourmet but very feasible sea food. Not to many places like this. Food is reasonably priced. All if not most plates are below 20$. Clam chowder and shrimp salad were delicious. Atmosphere is nice inside. Parking is now very bright compared to before. (Thank you).

I am really glad to have tried this place. I would have never known about it if my friend had suggested we try it out. They have quite a few options on their lunch menu and regular menu. The calamari definitely was the favorite, but I also enjoyed the fried zucchini. The Boston clam chowder was good, but I want to try their red chowder next time out of curiosity. Both the fried and grilled seafood were cooked and seasoned well.

The prices for food at this establishment were fair for seafood but the taste was rather disappointing with the inconsistency of dryness, lack of seasoning, or saltiness on the same plate. You’re better off trying other seafood places especially in the San Gabriel valley which are abundant with Asian seafood restaurants.

Been coming here for years!! Their Captain’s Deluxe Combo is my favorite!! The shrimp N fish dipped in hot mustard and cocktail sauce are delicious!!! Love this place. Oh their fried banana and ice cream dessert is so good!!

I had high hopes with all the great reviews. However the food was average. My boyfriend’s blacked catfish was under cooked. He had to send it back. My fish and shrimp was ok. The breading needs some seasoning. I do not like hot sauce or cocktail sauce so I need the breading to have seasoning. The red beans and rice had the most flavor. The food was reasonably price. The staff was friendly and did a great job. The restaurant was clean and decorated nicely. I would not return. The 2 stars was because the staff was so kind and hardworking.

Old school fish place with friendly, attentive service by Armando. I had delicious fried fish and shrimp, and a yummy baked potato. Fish tasted fresh and was flaky and tender. My companion had the onion rings which were perfectly done, tender, easy-to-bite onion in crispy and not too greasy jackets. Don’t know much about the other menu options but I’ll be happy to try them and report back. Feels good to support this unpretentious, inexpensive, long-running joint.

One of our favorite go to places to eat. Can never be wrong with your order, we tried most of their food; I love their Surf & Turf; steak is so tender and juicy and choices of sides as well is absolutely delish! And the white clam chowder is the best! Hmmm… yummy! Don’t forget the dessert! OMG all of them are really really really good! Love this restaurant and you’ll see a lot of regulars that eat here…and we consider ourselves as one of them.
