DO NOT GO TO SHOW HOTPOT. I HAD MAGGOTS IN MY FOOD. Again I repeat do not visit Show Hotpot
I visited in August. When I finished my food I discovered the little white pieces floating in my bowl were not cauliflower– but multiple little maggots instead! when I brought it up to the guy working, he asked if I wanted a new bowl. I was aghast. Said no, and had to firmly ask for a refund.
Hygiene is insanely poor. It enrages me to this day that I only discovered when I was through the entire bowl. Go here if you like eating hotpot with added maggot protein

It’s a really authentic Chinese Malatang establishment! I’ve been here a few times and it never disappoints. Just be careful about the spicy level as it can get really hot at the medium level already. Another good thing about them is that they open really late, until almost midnight!

I was craving for Chinese soup so i was happy this place was near by. It’s a food stand in a food court setting. It’s Saturday night but it was very quiet. Only a few restaurants were open. We got to order our food right away. There were not as many items to choose from as with other places that I visited. The sliced beef was very fatty, you could barely see any lean meat. The soup was tasty but way too oily for my taste. Unfortunately, we got tummy ache that night because the food didn’t agree with us. The price per pound was the same as other places. I wouldn’t go back again.

Really enjoyed the malatang here. The broth has great flavor with a good balance of spice and numbness, and the ingredients taste fresh and clean. Portions are generous and pricing feels fair. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back and try different combinations. Overall a solid spot for malatang.

The taste is pretty good. You choose the ingredients, but they add it to your hotpot. The advantage is that it is more hygienic than other buffet-style restaurants. It is geared more toward carry out and delivery. The bowls and utensils are all disposable. The food court is kind of run down. The people working there are not that communicative. Also, they don’t offer cups of water. When you order, the machine asks for a tip and there is no clear no tip button. We were not very impressed. They must be doing something right because it was popular when we were there.

I recently tried Show Hotpot and was blown away by the quality of their broth!
The MalaTang here is genuinely the best I’ve had, it’s so rich and flavorful that, for the first time, I finished the entire bowl.
The atmosphere and service were also great, making the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish.
Highly recommend Show Hotpot for any hotpot lover, especially if you’re a fan of MalaTang!

No offense but if you see an angry owner working his tail off you already know the food is going to be good. Amazed at the price for the customizable selections. I got the spicy savory beef broth and it’s actually really good. Some might argue better than Hai Di Lao. It’s in a small food court but they look to be expanding to their own restaurant next door.

The beef combo was so filling and much bigger than I thought for the price it was worth. There was little to no wait time and came out super hot and cooked! It was so good and I loved the rich flavor of the broth! Def coming back sometime soon for more!!
