This was a stop on my vacation trip from Arkansas to Ontario Canada. I had the 10 ounce ribeye, salad, and baked potato. All the food was great. The customer service was also great. The atmosphere of the wall pictures, drawings , and the music was all tied into the western theme. The bathroom had multiple stalls and was very clean. This is a go to on my future trips up north.

Good find for a late night steak and beer while passing through, the steaks were a bit too salty but great nonetheless. Really good service and food, if you find yourself in MT Vernon I’d eat here any day. Plus! They had delicious bread similar to top steakhouses.

Excellent find today using Google Maps. The staff here were very attentive to our needs and really friendly. The food came out exactly as ordered. It was very good and came out quickly. This place is a local favorite and I can understand why. It is easy to find and close to Interstate 64. There is plenty of parking in their large free parking lot.

4-5 star pricing, 2 star quality (apps, bread and Staff saved from a 1).

Packed seating, and staff, zero masks any where, no spacing for comfort or covid.

Table was wet with water, luckily they leave a spool of paper towels for you to prep your own table.

Staff was courteous and service was fast, even with full house.

Hot fresh bread , came to table to get you salivating.

All dressings and dips came in little to go cups.

0) $9 Potato Skins qty 6 & $8 Cheese sticks qty 8
Good quantity, and flavor, looked and tasted great, came out fast and hot. (Much better than average bar)

Dinners: all 3 ordered medium rare.

1)$24 – 14oz Rib eye, mash potatoes, Salad, small beer $4
got large beer (no charge),
Salad was skimpy but a typical side salad.
potatoes tasted dirty and overly seasoned like it was spilled, it does have skins, which normally I like but…I just can’t describe how nasty it tasted, I couldnt eat them.
Steak was thin, fatty, and rare, sent it back, came back out rare…I’m done. They did remove mine from bill.

2) $13 Angus sirloin 6oz, mashed, broccoli, tea $2.59
Looked good and cooked right. Wife said her steak and broccoli were good but she wasn’t a fan of the mash either.

3) $9 Kid sirloin and fries, tea $2.59
Good amount of big fries (bigger than the steak)
Steak, medium…guess it’s fine, kids don’t complain.

Steak place 1/4 on Steak cook correctly.

Won’t be going back.
2 dinners (1 adult 1 kid), 2 apps, 3 drinks $53.19 (without tip)

This was absolutely delicious. The steak was bigger than I expected. The portions are remarkable. Side salad good. Bread and cinnamon butter was perfect. Highly recommend the Ribeye steak. Reasonably priced and wonderful flavor. As you will notice…. It was all eaten.

Went for grandma 94th bday. She had catfish bites & sweet potatoe. She loved them. Had grilled chicken & steamed broccoli. Chicken was juicy & flavorful, broccoli was good but could have used just a hint of butter. Potato skins were good but served w/ranch dressing instead of sour cream. Uncle had the fish & shrimp special but was not impressed. Husband had steak & he was not impressed either. Chewy & tough. Prices are reasonable & our service was excellent. We had 11 people in our party, 5 separate checks & she did a wonderful job keeping us taken care of. She had a wonderful personality & got food & drinks out as quickly as could. Checked on us periodically & kept tables cleared off. She was especially accommodating to my grandma. Also, not a place that automatically adds gratuity which to me, is a plus.

Wow ok so for the prices these guys charge I expect far far better cuts… this would never of been a porterhouse. It was at best a low grade t bone that one could find at waffle house. After mentioning this fact to the management he took it upon himself to try reprimand me for complaining. The prices are wayyyyy off the mark. More than double the cost for the value.

We had about 20 people for my father-in-law’s 100th Birthday celebration. The staff, the food and the service could not have been better.

Went here for a date night, and didn’t take too long to get seated. The soda was really good and perfectly carbonated.
We had fried pickles with sauce, and they were both really good. They also bring out really good, soft and very delicious rolls, with very tasty cinnamon butter… I ended up eating 3 rolls, so I ended up taking home half my food.
He ordered steak with a loaded baked potato and steak fries, and he liked what he got, but he also let me try his steak. I don’t really order steak because I can’t always chew on it well enough… but his steak was tender and the bite I had was both tasty and tender enough for me to eat.
I got pulled pork and steak fries with cheese. The pork was tender and tasty…even the steak fries had good flavor. I would have preferred cheese sauce, but overall, we had a good experience and our food was delicious! Would come here again!

The star rating is not reflective on the service we received. The service by the wait staff was stellar and entertaining. Although, as we left, one waitress thought we were dine and dashing. Alas, we did not. We had pay our bill.

Now, why the one star you may ask? Well, look at the photo. You might think, ‘wow, that’s pretty good looking Jack Link’s,’ but you’d be wrong. Those were at once in their life ribs. Nothing was falling off those bones. The mashed potatoes were no saving grace either. The potatoes were encrusted in their own hardened layer from suntanning under the heat lamp for far too long.

My fellow patrons ordered steak, and thought their meals were pretty mediocre.

I would not return.
