Not your typical Mexican Restaurant. Non traditional which is totally fine but unexpected. It is BBQ styled Mexican food. The Name shortys “roadhouse ” makes sense after we realized lol. When you step inside it gives off Diner vibes. The complimentary chips and salsa are pretty good. We ordered a side of queso cheese , a few kids meals, a BBQ burrito and fajitas… everything was fresh and tasted good just wasnt that authentic Mexican flavor we were chasing

Absolutely loved this spot! The service was top-notch—everyone on staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Lindsay, our bartender, was fantastic and makes one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had! The fresh guacamole was heavenly—so flavorful and perfectly prepared, hands down the best guac I have had outside of Mexico. Their quesadillas, especially the one with portobello mushrooms was DELICIOUS!
The whole place has such a nice, colorful, laid-back vibe that makes it feel like a little escape. Super convenient location too—just off the main road and no hassle with parking. My husband and I had a great time, hope you do too!

Food was really good ( I had went to another Mexican restaurant the day before and was disappointed) so I was very happy to get a good meal!
I had the Short Rib burrito and it was Amazing. Only bad thing was the rice they served with it was very hard. Cool looking building inside and out. So the atmosphere was nice. Only thing I would have changed about the atmosphere there was the music, they were playing Elvis and things like that instead of Mexican music, which you might expect in a Mexican restaurant for atmosphere.

Once I walked in I felt a great environment, very spacey and big place, very easy to get seated. The waiters are awesome, super polite and super quick service. About 3 minutes for drinks and 10-15 minutes for food to arrive for a family of 6. The food was truly amazing, great tacos and a wide variety of Mexican and BBQ. Overall great place. I highly recommend.

I’ve been coming here for years with my family and recently a few months back I had the pleasure of meeting Liz the store manager. The first time I met Liz I went with my girlfriend and she was very friendly, sweet, helpful, and super nice. She went above and beyond to make sure our satisfaction at Shorty’s was 110%. Fast forward to yesterday and Liz did it again I told her that it was my 21st birthday and once again she went above and beyond to make sure I had a very memorable birthday, you can tell she really does care about the customers. I’m definitely recommending this place to anyone that is looking for an upbeat atmosphere, good food, and of course amazing customer service. Thank you Liz!!!

It’s more Tex Mex than traditional Mexican restaurants. Fun atmosphere with a busy environment typical always full. I enjoy sitting at the bar. I will admit that it’s expensive for the quality & quantity you receive. Especially Alcohol I mean ever since Covid drinks are all over $15 for 3 oz of booze in a state that has the lowest liquor costs in the country. Makes no sense other than drinks have 400% profit margins. Not to mention tipping 20% on 2 margaritas is $6 for ten seconds of work? Sorry for the rant haha

Visiting from NY for the weekend and as we were coming back, we decided to stop by. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was like old diner vibes. The food was also really good! My friend got the ribs (which were definitely worth the hype) and I had the pulled pork quesadillas. Super good and bigger portions than I expected. Definitely should stop by if you want to grab a bite. They even have a rewards program!
