Staff at 8:00 p.m. on Monday November 24th 2025 was incredibly rude to customers. The inside lobby was locked and drive through was at a standstill for a solid 10mins! Employees did not have headsets on and did not greet customers. I waited at the speaker saying hello and blowing my horn and no one greeted me so I pulled forward. The car behind me also did the same. We waited in line behind the truck in front of us that was being serviced for 10mins. When I arrived at the window the mail employee working the drive-thru told me to go back around which I refused. I explained that there was no one at the intercom and I assumed it was broken after waiting and blowing my horn. He took no accountability got angry and told me I’m holding the line up And close the window in my face three times before I request it the manager. She came to the window was extremely short and rude with me and run up my order and said it had to be a combo in without asking handed me a Sprite. My food was more or less lukewarm after all that time. I tried to go to the lobby to request hotter food and of course the doors were locked. I’m extremely angry that I wasted my time and my money and urge other customers to just go somewhere else.
TERRIBLE SERVICE

Visited today a little before 2:00 PM and had a very confusing and unprofessional experience. I originally came to pick up food and possibly eat in before work. When I arrived at the main entrance, all the lobby doors were locked. This was during lunchtime — a peak period — so I didn’t understand why customers were being blocked from entering during posted business hours. There was a small sign saying the lobby was closed, but nothing else indicating why.
Because this location advertises regular lobby hours and shows as “Open” online, I walked around to the drive-through window to ask for clarification. The first employee I asked told me the dining room was closed due to “staffing issues.” I have worked in sales and fast food before, and being short-staffed doesn’t mean you get to lock the doors and turn away customers. When a store is understaffed, that’s when management is expected to assist and keep the store running, especially during lunch rush.
I asked to speak with a manager because the explanation didn’t make sense. The employee shut the window and got the manager. When the manager came, his reasoning was completely different — he told me the lobby was closed due to “construction.” However, there were no signs of any construction at all. No workers, no tools, no areas blocked off, nothing moved, nothing taped, and no active work happening inside or outside. The building looked fully operational. So at that point, I had received two completely different explanations within minutes.
From a customer standpoint, it felt misleading and unprofessional. If the lobby truly had to be closed, there should be one consistent and truthful explanation, and customers should not have to walk around the building or interrogate staff to figure out why. Locking doors during posted business hours without clarity affects customers and reflects poorly on operations. It also shows a lack of coordination between staff and management.
Overall, this location needs improvement in communication, transparency, and basic business operations. Turning away sales on a busy lunch hour and giving conflicting stories is not only unprofessional but disrespectful.

The chicken at this Popeyes is usually very moist, flavorful, and crispy! This is my go-to place when I’m craving fried chicken. I love that I can pay a bit extra and get exactly which pieces of white meat I want, and they have mild chicken for me and spicy for my daughter. The neighborhood is a bit shady at night being right near the train and and so I go through the drive through. Last I knew, you could only go through the drive through at this location, but maybe that’s just at night? If I had one wish it would be that they start serving a normal amount of gravy with the mashed potatoes again, because the gravy is phenomenal, but Popeyes started putting a teeny 1-2 tablespoon dollop of gravy on the small size side a while back. Red beans and rice are very good here, also. Of the other Popeyes around, this location seems to consistently have friendly employees and make better, really good chicken- not greasy at all, but moist and light and really crispy. The lemon pepper chicken tenders are amazing when they have them, and I’m not the biggest fan of spicy food, but these are a revelation. They don’t always have what other Popeyes do at this location; for months they had no strawberry biscuits when other stores did, and they were frequently not selling or out of shrimp. What they do have always is the chicken, prepared better than at other Popeyes around, so they have better cooks here, who need to take a bow! I go there a lot, and would give 5 stars if it wasn’t for the scant gravy and shady neighborhood, which I guess they can’t really help. However, the building needs a good power wash, clean inside and out, and paint, which would brighten up the place. If I can see from the drive through that the inside could use a good scrubbing, it does.

️❄️Drive Thru • Lobby Closed
♿NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE ♿
There is NO way my friend could wheelchair herself through the drive thru. Even with assistance this would be difficult in snow. So, does that mean because she is in a wheelchair that she isn unable to eat here. She could use a delivery service because all she had was cash.
NO Dine-In
It was around 1:00 PM, freezing cold and ❄️ snowing ️ like crazy. We were on foot and walked ♂️ up to the doors just to find out that the Dining Room and Lobby are closed and that we had to walk through the drive-thru!!!
In this area of town, a significant portion of this restaurant’s customers are on foot and would prefer to order and eat in-doors. However, these customers are forced to walk through the drive-thru.
This doesn’t make any sense!! Why would the lobby be closed on a weekday at 1:00 PM during a ️”Blizzard”❄️! There was nothing on the door to indicate why!!!

MY ONE FRIEND IS IN A WHEEL CHAIR. HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT HER TO ORDER USING THE DRIVE-THRU WHILE THE LOBBY IS CLOSED!!! THIS IS NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE!!!

I haven’t been to Popeyes in years… on purpose. I randomly had cravings for a biscuit. Line was in the street but kept moving, partially because the inside was closed. Even though it was noon. Ordered 3 biscuits and reg Mac & cheese. Biscuits were good, Mac & cheese I only took 2 bites. Tasted like dish soap or something can’t put my finger on it but tasted disgusting. Also hate that the initial picture is of a newer Popeyes. Smh, definitely thought it was overall a cleaner look.

Ordered pickup online and walked there to get it. Found a sign on the door stating the lobby was “closed for renovation, drive thru only”. I called the store about 8 times before someone finally picked up, seemed to not understand me, and hung up mid-conversation. Completely unable to get my food, I just left. Abysmal service…

My requested 5 piece mixed chicken dinner ended up a breast & 4 wings. Got stuck with an extra small meal we never even ordered. No one on duty qualified to make the adjustment. Chicken overcooked or had been sitting for a while. Dried out & chewy

Tried Popeyes for the first time this weekend and I’m mad at myself that it took this long. Overall, the food was delicious and the service at this location was exemplary. We ordered from the drive thru and got the basics: a chicken meal, tenders, slaw, biscuits, and sauce. The breading on their chicken is crispy and delicious. The tenders were good, but noticeably not as flavorful as the bone-in chicken, which went well with the Louisiana hot sauce. The coleslaw stood out too; they put dill in it for a great pickly flavor that cut through the richness of the chicken, and it wasn’t overly sweet like it tends to be at other places. Though a bit on the dry side, the biscuits had a buttery, nostalgic taste and went well with the honey they gave us. The drive-thru line extended out into the street, so you know they’re doing something right. That said, don’t be surprised if you have to wait or push to defend your spot in line. The drive thru cashier had a really great attitude and talked with us and cracked jokes which made the wait that much more worthwhile. I hope to be back soon and try the rest of the menu. Prices are reasonable.

This sandwich was incredibly good! The chicken literally tasted amazing, the bun was so buttery and delectable. The pickle added a bit of a crunch. They recently have sold out but I look forward to going back to buy another one! Customer service is either excellent or horrible at this location. Last week it was great!
