Road trip day 2 random search for sandwiches near me and there’s the rando sando food truck in Ely with 5 stars. Enjoyed The Brutus has extra layers of flavors to enhance the experience including the candied nuts and vinegarette all in perfect proportion. Well done!

A bit pricey. A simple, straight forward but delicious menu. The staff is always pleasant. All the food I’ve had is always fresh, well seasoned and satisfying. I’ve never waited more than maybe 10 minutes and I’ve ordered 3 sandwiches and 3 soups. Pretty quick service.

Ordered 2 sandwiches, the T-bird and Brutus. The bread was toasted perfectly and all the ingredients tasted fresh. 5/5 recommend if you want a healthy lunch. The soup of the day was a little too salty but overall a really good meal and a nice change from fast food if you’re traveling through (16$ for 1 sandwich is a little pricey but worth it)

Staff were very nice, food was absolutely delicious. My family had such a hard time deciding what to get because everything looked so good and creative. I got the brutus sandwich, so fresh and flavors went very well together.

Excellent sandwiches in a town with minimal options. We were driving through and needed lunch. A lot of options were in smoky casinos… a no go with a child. Trying to avoid fast food chains we stumbled upon Shorty’s and I’m grateful we did! Delicious

We were here ripping and running wild in the woods got hungry came to check Shorties I got double Dub very very good, the flavors complemented each other and the meat was A1. My girl got the garlic chicken and you know I had to take a bite it was delicious. If up in Ely it’s a definite must try
