My husband and I heard all the hype so we decided to give them a try. 10/10 all the way around. My husband had chimichangas and I had chile rellenos. Everything was seasoned well and portions were large. The bonus was the queso didn’t drip off the chips across the table!

**edited to add they’re now on rotation for us! Dragon fruit marg, white sangria and were a fan of trying the specials. Haven’t been disappointed yet and you cannot find a more friendly staff!

El Azteca has a nice, clean atmosphere and Leslie was warm and friendly and made us feel so welcomed. We tried their Fajita Burrito, Chorizo Queso dip and Chicken Chimichanga, which were at a reduced price for lunch (from 11 am to 2 pm). Everything was delicious, especially the rice, which was cooked with onion and tomatoes! We love that they are open daily. Queso dip can be hit or miss, as once we visited and it was watery. We are repeat customers!

Everything was absolutely delicious! I loved the entire atmosphere — the place smells clean and feels welcoming from the moment you walk in. The food was a solid 10/10, and the sangria was simply SPECTACULAR. Beautiful presentation and vibrant flavors.

Wendy and Mateo were both incredibly friendly and treated us with such kindness and professionalism. The entire staff was excellent — attentive, warm, and truly made us feel like family.

The restaurant is also very accessible, with plenty of parking available, which made our visit even more convenient. This is definitely a spot where they’ve gained two loyal customers for life.

Highly recommend this place 100%!
Congratulations to the team — this is a gem of a restaurant!

Had the Cameron Azteca. I am a picky picky eater. Always searching for that food that surprises me. This is the dish. For a sweet lover this savory dish is soooo good! Seen many places come and go in this location, this place here to stay!

I had great expectations about the place. We finally made it there today, around 2:15 PM. When you walk in, you walk into the counter/bar. The person in charge is facing the door. There were 6-7 people sitting at the bar, with their backs towards the entrance door. A “Please wait to be seated” sign on the left. On the right side is the dining room, with several tables. We stood by the door, waiting to be seated as the sign reads. The bartender did not even acknowledge us as guests. Not “welcome, someone will be with you in just a moment”, a greeting so commonly used at restaurants. A waitress was chatting away with some people at a table, another was stacking glasses, there was a guest at another table immerse in reading the menu. We waited, by the door, the bartender facing us, and 1-2 waiting staff going around, we waited close to 10 minutes before leaving. Went to another restaurant, where our business was appreciated.
Will we go back to this restaurant? I don’t think we will. (For reference, we’re a senior couple, who enjoys eating out and Mexican food).

We’ve been on the hunt for a good Mexican restaurant near the Villages. Authentic food, drinks and the service was impeccable. We sat at the bar and Wendy took care of us. She did not steer us wrong. Every suggestion was just what we were looking for. We are picky about our Mexican food and drinks and this establishment did not disappoint. We enjoyed every moment of our visit. The staff is so friendly, we cannot wait to return. We will recommend this to anyone looking for good, authentic Mexican food. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

I ordered a taco and chili relleno for lunch. Awesome! It is hard to find a restaurant that cooks the pepper without batter. The entire meal was outstanding and we made it back to court on time
