There are not a lot of Shoney’s left and very few that are good anymore.
Let me just say for the record this Shoney’s is good. The food is fresh and is cooked completely.
The service is fabulous. All the staff and waitresses, waitors, cooks, and workers here are really kind and helpful.
The price is good and Buffett is delicious

We got the buffet and the food was not all that great. They kept it coming out but unfortunately the food they brought out would sometimes not be as fresh as it should be. The fish was fabulous in their salads refresh and crisp. Will we notice something we did not like, when they brought new food out they scraped out the old dried out food and dumped it right on top of the new food and that is uncalled for and gross. The waitress we had was very attentive and friendly and so is the atmosphere. But we won’t be back just from the food experience we had that day.

Really good food. Full menu plus decent buffet with meats, vegetables, and fresh salad bar. The breaded pork chops on the buffet were incredible and not dry. Our server was really friendly and did great with my niece and nephew. Really great stop on the road trip. And they have a chocolate cake ice cream sundae that reminds me of the ones from Azars that are lost to the sands of time.

Haven’t eaten at any Shoneys in quite awhile. Tonight’s meal was good, served as ordered, fresh and hot. Service was spot on too, thanks Winter. They have a nice salad bar, great items to choose from. They also have a git food bar, looked good, but ordered from the menu.

I haven’t been to Shoney’s in years. I actually didn’t know we had any left close by. It was just as I remembered with a delicious buffet. Reminded me of the days going out with my parents when I was little. I took my two.older boys, and it was nice to sorta relive those memories from years ago.

It’s a Shoney’s. A breakfast buffet with ok food. The building is older as most are. The best part of our experiences here was the server. She did a good job. Not excellent or exceptional, but good. Probably wont be back but not because of the service.

On the other hand, if you like going to a buffet, this place is also nice to go as they have a variety of deliciously made foods with desserts to choose from to filled your stomach and keep going rolling your wheels. $13 per head plus tax.

The food was cold and the manager said everything was hot but the mashed potatoes. He didn’t offer the cut the bill or offer us something from the menu. The only thing that was hot was my daughters food.

Classic Shoneys with a fair sized soup, salad, fruit, soup and main dish bar, all you can eat, or order from the menu. The salad bar pricing is confusing, they definitely intend for you to order an entree and add the salad bar as an add-on. Prices for the standalone AYCE bars are not on the menu. Several options, you have to ask your server about them– whether you want the full bar, or just the soup, salad, fruit bar.
Salad bar options were standard, but nicely kept and fresh looking. The soup bar’s two soup choices were limiting, but were tasty, if maybe a bit on the saltier side. Meat options this evening were fajitas. The meats were a bit dry, and the tortillas were tough, but still not a bad overall deal, especially for the salad components. This wouldn’t be my first 2nd or 3rd choice if I were looking for mexican cuisine, I was definitely interested the salad bar. BTW, the full AYCE bar ran about $15 if ordered alone, salad+fruit was $12, or if your ordered an entree, the full bar was an additional $5. So, the most value option is to order a $15 entree and add on the salad bar. Take the entree as a to-go meal, and enjoy the full salad bar. Two meals, $20, plus drinks, taxes and tips.

My boyfriend and I usually eat shoneys every sunday that I am home from college. Today we went and it was a very different experience. The server we had I was familiar with because I know her through mutual friends. Her name is Alex. She noticed me at the table after dropping off drinks and proceeded to pass us to another server, which is understandable from one server to another it’s awkward serving someone that you know, knows a lot of information about you. After that the server she passed up too rushed us the entire time we were there. My boyfriend didn’t even have his plate yet and dropped off our ticket on the table. She proceeded to rush us, offered no refills, and was rude. Another server came up to us and treated us as if we were her table giving refills and more. I went to get another plate from the bar and I overhead the server we got passed to from Alex say that we had been talking about Alex and that’s why she took our table. The service was VERY unprofessional and I am very disappointed. Something need to be done about the unprofessional behavior from these two servers.
