We love the breakfast bar. About once a month we will do a brunch and get the breakfast bar on a Friday. It’s usually pretty busy but the food is great. The pancakes and French toast was empty when i got to the bar. I had to make several trips to get some but it was good. Probably good that it was out because it is so delicious, I could easily overdo it. lol

When my family and I went here a couple of months ago, we had a small child in a stroller (do not recommend taking a stroller… it’s a little crowded and while they could have put us at an empty table at the front, they stuck us in a crowded location in the back). Our server spent about 8 or 9 minutes talking to the people in front of us, who were probably friends or regulars, before coming over and then apologizing (“Oh, you know, it’s so busy today”). Once we got our plates, we sat there for a while without silverware/drinks and we didn’t see our server to ask. The food was good, and so it’s a little sad, because we would have gone back for the food if the server had done a better job (paid attention at all)!

Decent small town atmosphere where everyone knows one another. It was definitely a blast from the past. Whereas, my hometown Shoney’s shut down over 20 years ago and it was definitely a pleasure to visit and enjoy a good meal.

Love going there with family and friends. The buffet is amazing, and the breakfast bar is probably the best I’ve ever had. I make it a part of my routine to go there at least twice when I’m in town visiting.
