Update: Responded to response and GM offered 15% off my next buffet. So I only have to pay 85% of full price for a 50% filled buffet. Never again. 2 stars have now become 1. Build a business on principals and not shady tactics. Serve what is advertised.
A picture is worth a thousand words. Here is 4.
So We Did the Pizza Dinner Buffet. The Cost Was Very Reasonable and I Was Suprised the Buffet Came with a Drink!!
The Staff Was Awesome. All of the Pizza on the Buffet Had Meat on it and a Staff Member Heard Me Lookibg for Veggie Pizza and Said ” I Can Go Put in for a Veggie Pizza Now.”
I Was Soo Happy and Suprised!!
So I Started Out with This Fried Chicken I’ve Heard Soo Much About. Oh Yaass!! The Chicken Did Not Dissapoint! Nice Crunchy Flavorful Skin with Tender Chicken Inside.
With Else Was Delicious as Well. And I Will Say They Kept Bringing Put Freshly Made Food for the Buffet the Whole Time We Were There!! We Will Definately Be Back!!
And Good News!! They Just Extended Thier Hours Tuesday thru Saturday They Are Open Until 8pm.
P.S.
The Bathroom Was Nice and Clean.
Friday evening. Really? No complaints. The food was always hot. Their Pizza is kind of like Little Caesars, but still good. Fried chicken was crispy and juicy. I like the fish, the potato wedges, and their thinly cut chips and if you ever go request the chocolate chip cookie.
Here’s my list of what was not satisfactory today:
1) The ladies restroom had a dirty stinky diaper smell when I first went in. I reported it and somebody took care of it because when I went back in, it no longer smelled. But the handicap toilet was very dirty on and under the seat. Personally, I would not sit on it even with a liner. Pretty gross. It should be checked and cleaned every half hour as there are only 2 stalls.
2) According to my husband, his shoes stuck to the men’s restroom floor. What’s up with that? Recycled soap in the bucket? It too needed cleaning.
2) I watched a staff member not properly rotate the chicken when he brought a fresh batch out. That has to STOP, especially if it was past its expiration time on the warmer. I had no way of knowing, so I reached for a fresh piece.
3)There was a rediculous wait time for a nut free desert. When it finally came, it was not fully cooked. So my stepson brought it back to the kitchen. Instead of putting it directly into the oven to cook all the way, the staff member stuck his fingers in it first. Naturally, my stepson asked for another after seeing that. To make the situation worse, they made him PAY for it because it was one (less) ingredient. And he had to request that they put the handle back on the ice cream machine so that he could serve it with the desert cookie to his kids. It was not even 3PM.
4) Another matter that management needs to address right away is that the clean up crew should not be stacking dirty dishes up to his chin dirtying the inside of his arm and shirt. He should be using a cart with a bin. That is a sanitation AND safety issue. You gotta wonder… Does he stack clean dishes the same way? Does he wash his dirty arms first if he does?
5) Proper training is needed at bussing tables. The table crumbs and straw wrappers should not be wiped off the table and onto the floor.
After today’s experience, I’d personally think twice about returning to THIS location.
If it weren’t for the chicken not being rotated properly and the cookie being fingered in plain sight, I would have given this location’s food selection and quality 3.5 stars. The reason being, that the potato wedges, chips, and biscuits were not fresh. Though, the pizza was very good with a wide selection and the salad bar was fresh, there was not much of a selection of desert pizza.
