Sadly not impressed. The food was fine, nothing special but fine. The biggest problem was nobody up front. Even though there was 2 out of the 4 tables available it took 30 minutes to have someone walk upfront at all to seat us. Which was weird because the two cooks could see us easily. The worst part besides not getting any refills for drinks was that it took over an hour for anyone to come into the front to take our money so we could leave. By that point there was a large group of people waiting to be seated, order food or pick up an order. Everyone of them had been waiting at least 30-60 minutes for someone to come up front. We were really hoping to find a good Chinese restaurant to visit often but this one will not be it.

Shon Hing has been my #1 favorite restaurant since childhood, and even though I’ve moved out of town it is one of my main motivators for coming back. The food is amazing! It takes some time to order and eat, but it’s worth the wait. Personal favorites are the appetizers, namely Pork and Seeds, wontons and egg rolls, and the Mandarin chicken with rice. Their egg drop soup is also brilliant. If you don’t mind slowing down for the quality, you’ll be so glad you did. Fresh, delicious perfection!

We’re passing through and, Samantha, the very nice clerk at our hotel in Burley recommended this lovely restaurant. And it is lovely, the people so nice and the food so good! Well worth the short drive into Rupert (and what a fantastic town square they have). The food was fresh, hot and delicious!

The food was amazing and it seems to be fast service now that they have moved to Rupert. I have done both dine in and take out both amazing fast prompt service..only thing is they only seem to have 4 tables. But really not a big deal the times I have ate there

Exceptionally long wait time, but the food was quite remarkable. Will likely become a regular take-out. Dine in currently only has around 5 tables, so good luck getting one.

Loved eating here when they were open in Burley and still love them. Just amazing owners. Their food is so great and wholesome. I love every part of this restaurant. Very family oriented.
