I’m in Vegas for WPPI and we ended up at Ada’s. Hands down the best Burger I’ve had in this town. Not sure if it’s made any lists or not, but it should be on them all. We also loved the Cured Wagyu and the pork belly. But for real, GET THE BURGER!

What went there because they have a James beard nomination for their wine program. It seemed a little disjointed and confused when it came to service as they didn’t even know that we had paid for a wine tasting experience. It is a restaurant that has a separate room that’s used for both dining and wine tasting event. The price was very low for the tasting event and had approximately 6 wines included. The location is very good in the arts district of las vegas. Parking can be very tricky now that this area has gotten so popular.

Such great food and wine flights are always fun! Service was fantastic and I love the feel of the restaurant. It was a bit warm to be outside but I won’t mind in more tolerable weather conditions. Parking is easy at Tivoli Village.

We arrived around 4 pm on a Friday and were seated immediately. My husband picked a customized flight and really enjoyed it. The chorizo with peppers were yummy. The bent river cheese and apricot was delicious. The mussels in coconut broth was so yum. The lamb ribs were inhaled and immediately gone. Everything tasted great, very well executed.

I highly recommend!!

Had a lovely dinner here on a week night. It was fairly easy to get a table. The service was quick and attentive without feeling rushed. The food was amazing, full of flavor. We had the smash burger and don’t regret it! The chocolate tart was also amazing.

Ada’s Food + Wine, part of Chef James Trees’ empire, moved from Tivoli Village to reopen as simply Ada’s in the Arts District mid-December. Popped in for a late lunch/early dinner about a week later.

Received a friendly greeting from Rosa at the podium and was given my preference of seating, which was at the bar.

Food
O’Conner Skirt Steak + Green Peppercorn Chips ($38): Eight ounces of excellently-seasoned and -seared meat at the requested medium-rare doneness from end to end. Sliced well, quite juicy, great mouthfeel. Came with a little pitcher of tasty sauce, plus a small splat of mashed potatoes topped with a handful of crispy crisps.

Taleggio Tart + Sour Cherry ($16): The dessert menu was tempting, but, cheese! The wedge was creamy and buttery, contrasted with the top and drizzle of sour cherry. Edge was nicely flaky.

Drink
Interesting selection of out of the common way wine and spirits, as might be expected from Kat Thomas, known as “the wine goddess”.
With my meal had
Kékfrankos Wetzer 2022 ($22) and
Greenwing Pinot Noir 2024 ($17): Very healthy pours. Finished with a generous tot of
Lo-Fi Aperitifs Gentian Amaro ($13).

Value: An accessible mix of price points for both food and liquids; the steak was the highest priced item of all the menus.

Atmosphere: Very open, large window frontage, with great use of eye-catching colors, black fixtures, and eclectic artwork. Very comfortable bar seats. Main dining area had a fantastic view into the kitchen. Music was pop.

Service: Super warm, beginning with Rosa, on to Lucas and Kat behind the bar, and Jen.

Ada’s occupies the former spots on California of Esther’s Kitchen and Bjørk Caviar, now both located on Main, and stretches into what was once a barbershop. Upcoming areas include an outdoor patio and private dining/tasting room.
Bar had not only bag hooks but also charging plugs.

There’s something dangerous about a place like Ada’s. You walk in with ten people and the noble intention of “just a birthday dinner,” and suddenly you’re knee-deep in bottles you can’t pronounce and plates that refuse to be kept to yourself.

This is the kind of room built for conspiracy and celebration. Low hum of conversation. Glassware catching the light. Food landing in the center of the table like offerings to some very civilized deity. Shared plates done right, not as a gimmick, but as a ritual. Forks crossing. Arguments over the last bite. Laughter getting louder with every pour.

And the wine. Jesus. Not just good. Not just “nice.” Delicious in that dangerous, text-your-ex dangerous way. The kind of bottles that make you trust the sommelier blindly and order one more because, clearly, they know something you don’t.

For a birthday with ten people, it was perfect. No pretense, no awkward spacing, just a table full of friends, passing plates, raising glasses, and doing what humans were meant to do: eat well and drink better.

Definitely pricey for the smallish portions, but every bite was packed with flavor! Welcoming atmosphere with free wine tasting, descriptive and attentive servers.. and some awesome rock music!!

⭐️Highly recommend the chicken with kale + white beans! Crispy with lots of flavor from the whole dish to soak up ☺️ I made sure my plate was completely cleared it was so yummy!
Why was the plate of fries with aoli sauce $13 when it was a tiny dish with maybe half a potato’s worth of fries?!

You are likely to spend $20-$30 here per meal!

Enjoyed the new Ada’s in the Art’s District on Saturday evening. Many spots don’t open until 5:00, so we were happy to see the welcome sign out. My husband and I sat at the bar. Thankfully the hostess/manager/somm pulled up an extra seat for us, which was awesome, as the bar was full! Asked about a Happy Hour, they do have one, but the bartender was not able to share much about any specials (according to the bartender, they do have a $3 oyster special). Enjoyed the Ada’s Old Fashioned, a tasty glass of Albarino, and the ‘mystery red’ which was an Argentinian blend. We opted to share the beet salsa macha, as described by one of the waitresses we were chatting with, and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend. Because Bar Boheme has our current favorite burger, we decided to give Ada’s burger a try. Excellent choice for two smashed patties, cooked perfectly, with special sauce and a tasty bun. We also were intrigued by the Pub Fries, and gave them a try (though made with canola oil?). This was our only miss on the ordering. I would describe the fries as a not thoroughly cooked, nor seasoned, pricey baked potato sliced into 5 wedges, albeit served with a tasty aioli. We used the fries as a means to eat more of that special burger sauce that we ordered an extra side of. We would definitely go back to try the interesting small plate offerings.

Great place for a lighter/later dinner because there are a lot of small plates from which to choose. Our server was a dedicated professional and she knew a lot about every dish. They have an elaborate preservation system for doing high-end wine by the glass. Prices are fair.
