Great menu to select from
Lots of fried but delicious food
It was around $25 $26 for all you can eat.
I wish there were more desert options.
Food was really fast.
Great customer service. Plenty of spaces to dine in
Lots of free parking outside of the facility.
The price for each adult including tax and tips around $50 CAD and all you can eat. But the tour guy collect $80 CAD for each people and only one main course…..Beef, chicken or salmon.
Good food and menu, I just wish they offer simple ramen or takoyaki.
Price is on the “not so expensive but not so cheap” side.
Same price in the GTA but more options there than here, maybe because of food/ingredients sourcing.
Nevertheless, this is the only Japanese restaurant in town and I’m happy that there is this kind of establishment here.
Will definitely go back again
It took over an hour to get some of the first dishes we ordered. Several things were missed.
The sashimi came out partially frozen.
The staff were pleasant, no complaints with the individuals.
If this restaurant can’t keep up with a full restaurant and all their delivery orders then they need to make some changes. This was my worst experience at any sushi restaurant in a longtime.
What really disappointed me was not the policy itself, but the lack of communication. No staff mentioned that they would charge us for the leftovers. If they had simply told us, we would have gladly finished them right away.
Instead, they quietly added the charge to the bill without saying a word. It felt sneaky and unpleasant.
I completely agree that customers shouldn’t waste food, but at the very least there should be basic communication and transparency. A friendly reminder would have solved everything.
Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression
It seems like things did not change.
While the environment is clean and staff is polite enough it’s hard to flag them down for any extras if you need forks or sauces as sides. They’re busy, sure but the restaurant wasn’t packed and it lacked availability for eye contact.
While I understand it’s all you can eat- the quality seems to reflect a price saving mindset. We ordered enoki beef rolls and the onion rolls and there was barely any beef to speak of wrapping the veggies. I’ll attach a photo. It also doesn’t specify in the menu that when you select you’re only getting one item- so I ordered shrimp tempura and was given ONE at a table or two. We did re order more but it seems as though it would be obvious to make it a double serving as a baseline?
They have a high rice ratio and smaller filling ratio. The hand rolls were basically just rice.
I found they skimped a lot which was not fun, especially since it was a seventy dollar meal for two. We’re paying for it. Sure, serve small bits a a time but skimping will not tempt me to return for mediocre quality sushi to begin with.
It’s unfortunate this is the only location.
Also on our arrival many of the empty tables were still dirty with crumbs all over. It wasn’t so busy they could not keep up. This just dampened the experience.
Came here for lunch. We arrived when they opened at 1130 am. We ordered. They were very slow to pick up our orders even though there was maybe four tables total.
We didn’t start getting food until around 1245.
The food quality is the same- decent reliable sushi.
But they took forever. By the time we were ready to pay at 150 pm they were bringing out items they hadn’t brought us yet that we had forgot about.
People were lined up like crazy to get in, very disorganized not enough staff ? I don’t know. It was pretty awful.
Only good part is we got to socialize for longer than planned.
Maybe it’ll improve once they get into the swing of things.
