We celebrated my daughter’s bday at Shoguns on the 15th. It’s a tradition in our family to celebrate at Shoguns. We had a large party and the staff handled it all so well. We had so many kids and the chef was so patient and friendly with them. It felt a little rushed, but I understand how busy it gets. This is our little celebration spot and we’ve been coming for 10 years. The girls love to throw change in the fountains and all the FIRE!

Meh… not worth the price, service was horribly slow. We came in for a birthday party, group of 12. I get that we ordered a lot of food but they had one lady serving all of the people in the back (with help of the cooks). She got most things we ordered wrong, rarely brought more to drink and the glasses are smaller, etc.
Two of our people ordered plain white rice…. it didn’t come until everyone was almost done eating. She had forgotten. We ordered two orders of edamame. One came out quickly, the other came out while we were eating so we really didnt want it. She had forgotten again. Meal was just okay. The chef had to ask our order a few times. She didn’t catch everything that we requested so he had to adjust and go get the missing food.
Overall, just not a good visit. Would not return given the local options.

Great food and service. There were 3 of us and we had our own table. Everyone was very friendly and the chef did a great job creating a great memory.

Terrible experience. Our waitress was horrible. Our chef was great and we made sure to give him a nice tip personally. Our waitress was very impatient and super pushy trying to rush us. Kept reminding us of the Bill and tapping it on the table. In the very beginning, I gave her a cake and asked her to bring it out with the candle lit at the end of the dinner for a family member, she ended up bringing it out in the container and everything still in the package. The candle wasn’t opened or anything. So Grandma just saw the cake put on the table without any surprise. Was absolutely ridiculous. I will never come back to this establishment because of her. She was super rude and at the end of it had the audacity to bring up if I was going to tip her. I said no and signed my receipt. Older Asian lady, this place needs to tighten up.

We had an absolute blast here! The food was excellent (humongous, juicy, succulent, tender scallops? Steak perfectly done to order? Awesome shrimp? Deliciously prepared veggies cooked to perfection? Perfectly cooked steamed and fried rice? Yes, please!), the host was hilarious, and the other guests were perfectly nice. The atmosphere and decor can’t be beat, either! There were lots of families and friends having fun together. We definitely decided we had to come back sometime, and we will!

The quantity of food provided for the price is substantial. However, it lacked any seasoning. This suggests that one could prepare a more flavorful meal at home for less expense.

Great experience. They seated us even though we didnt have a reservation. Great food. Good service. It’s about 30-40 dollars a person if you get drinks. The warm sake was to die for.

Our chef was absolutely incredible and became my daughter’s instant hero when she kept asking him to “do the fire again!” He had this huge smile watching her excitement but playfully made her wait for the perfect moment. When he finally created that massive fireball while cooking the steaks, her giggles were priceless! The food was phenomenal too, my steak cooked to perfect medium rare and so tender, the chicken equally delicious, everything seasoned beautifully. I’d be here every other week if I could afford it!

We have been going for years, the restaurant needs a little bit of updating. Food is always good, chefs do a good job.
