Food is quite okay but not to be excited too.
Portion is okay though quality and freshness of meat, chicken and seafood needs to be relook.
Baby squid is really really hard and rubbery.
Service is really Dull, it is not really busy but staffs are confused and dis organized.

My wife and I were craving Korean food and were lucky to find this place. It’s really cozy, and everything we ordered tasted great. The staff were super friendly and more welcoming than a lot of other restaurants we’ve been to. Special thanks to the receptionist for guiding us since we’re pretty new to Korean food. We really enjoyed the meal and had a great time overall.

The meat is tasty, and comes in large portions — definitely the highlight of Shogun Korean BBQ. The environment is pretty basic and not fancy, but the food makes it worthwhile. Great for casual dinners with friends or family. Would definitely come back for the quality and value.

First time I brought my girl with me, we eat a buffet without ordering the extra food.
ONLY 69 AED including vat and everything!!!!! OMG not only the price the taste and service are on points!!!!
The second time I went there with my boyfriend this time we ordered some soup from a la cart menu and that was amazing!!! I like how they make the soup not too spicy so my bf who not good at spicy food can had it!!
I would recommend to order the extra cheese to eat with the meat especially the striploin and beef bulgogi both are amazingly worth to try!!!

The food is delicious and definitely worth the price. The side dishes are tasty, and the main courses are superb. The Filipina server (Kabayan)—I forgot to ask her name—was very hospitable, respectful, and proactive. You don’t even have to call her; she anticipates what’s needed and attends to it right away. She made the experience feel like a 5 star restaurant. Overall, a truly great experience

We walked in excited and ready to enjoy our meal, but the experience quickly turned unpleasant. From the moment we entered, the server named Diane told us the restaurant was closing at 11 pm without any greeting or welcome. Note that we arrived at 10 pm at the restaurant. Shortly after, a group of Arab ladies arrived and were greeted warmly with a smile and a “hi,” making the contrast uncomfortable and we felt discriminated.
We paid full price for the unlimited menu but did not receive unlimited service. Our server never returned to check on us, so we didn’t bother ordering more food. She was busy chitchatting with other staff members instead of focusing ok service. The entire experience felt rushed and unwelcoming. We could not enjoy the food nor the atmosphere so we left without even finishing our food. What a waste of time and money. We ended up having to unwind somewhere else to forget this experience.
There are many other Korean BBQ places with far better service. Management should address consistency and customer service.

Its my first time to go to Shogun recommended by my wife and her friends(they are a fan of samgyup), had the best experience on food and ambiance. The serving is worth it and the price is affordable if you are coming in group. What i enjoyed is there soup( i dont know the name but it is included on their menu called ‘best seller’), its savory and full of vegetables. Also with the serving of their grilled beef, seafood and chicken are superb. It’s easy to grill and the serving is amazing. Add up on their complimentary side dishes is also stunner. Few points only for me is the accessibility since the signage is at the top side of the building on which as a first timer I cannot easily locate it, atleast there is a signboard outside(left and right) for the customer to easily locate and access the diner. Also the service is amazing most especially with the receptionist who assisted us and leading us to our table, jolly and accommodating. Some waitstaff are also friendly and smiling but sad to say one of their waitstaff is not the same as others(considering the age), but with the time frame it’s open, theres nothing wrong tosmile and accommodate for only 4-5 hours ( based on the opening timings). I thought its open till morning like 12-14 hours shift but its not. But I tried to understand her situation but not all will be the same(please dont feel bad about this since we are also working on FnB world so we understand but its a part of our livelihood). But overall experience is highly recommended and be back soon. Thank you so much for assisting us most especially to the once preparing the food.
