Has to be one of the best spots in town for handmade sushi. While we were sitting there we could see the chef at work, he obviously takes his craft very seriously and it shows. Got the “Top Secret” roll it came out on fire and it was absolutely amazing. Next we had the cowboy roll, it was a big hit for us. We had our meal as the samurai dinner, it was fantastic. We even tried the eel for the first time ever, not quite our cup of tea but it was prepared very nicely. We will definitely need to comeback some time for the hibachi!

So me and my family came here for sushi and hibachi food. The hibachi food was very good, our chef even did tricks in the flat grill. He was very engaging as well with food jokes and throwing food for us to catch which my children loved. The sushi however was the down fall, the rice mixed into the sushi was hard and they wasnt elegant looking. The lady bring the drinks did warn us that the usual person that prepares the sushi was not present.

Service was good, but the food quality was poor. The cook scorched the fried rice, and since that was three-quarters of what was on the plate, it gave an overall bad taste to everything. What bothers me the most is the the cook knew he burned the rice and served it anyway. Twice during cooking he moved the rice pile from the center of the cook top and scraped the scorched bits off the griddle into the trash. Other than two slivers of carrot and some onion bits, the “mixed vegetables” were entirely mushrooms. The salmon and steak were cooked well and the quality was good, but the portions were small. I would guess my salmon piece to be only about 4 ounces. The meat was flavored ok, but was drowned out by the burned flavor of the rice. Overall the experience was not worth the price.

Service was absolutely terrible. The lady upfront with a black mask, was so rude. She never said “hi” or even told us what her name was. When she came up to my table, she literally only said “what do you want?” While The couple in the booth in front of us was writing on their receipt (leaving a tip), she came over and literally was standing over his shoulder as he was filling it out. When giving her a very generous tip despite how poor the service was, I didn’t even get a thank you or a smile. She simply just walked away.
Super upset about our service. Will never be back.

We had the worse experience there last night. They charged us $2 for having no onions in the veggies and the lady was extremely rude from time we walked in until we left. Then added her own 15% tip when we only had 3 people. We have never had this experience here until tonight. The cook was awesome and had the best personality. We gave his tip directly to him and waitress got mad.

The Habchi was good, the sushi was horrible. It was dried out, I’m sure it’s pre-made. The Habchi chef was amazing, the best part of the whole thing. We came 2 hours from home to do something because it was my 6-year-old’s birthday and she loves Habchi and wanted to go for her birthday. I told the waitress several times it was her birthday. My six-year-old sat there anxiously waiting for them to sing to her, bring her something – nothing. We paid, she still sat there waiting, begging me to tell them it was her birthday. We definitely will never be back.

Reading the reviews I was a bit heasitant to try this spot out, and told myself I would leave a review whether good or bad.
We were seated immediately at a hibatchi table and our drink order was taken within 5 minutes. Our food, taken after 10. Even though they were short staffed everything ran efficiently. Portions were a bit smaller than at other hibatchi resturants, but by no means did we leave hungry. I got a steak/scallop meal and I felt that the quality was 5/5 and so was the service. (Shawn) our chef, i think thats his name, was professional, hillarious, and did a great job cooking our food. Im sure others may have not had as good of an experience or caught staff on an off night, but the 1 and 2 star reviews are unwarrented as for what I saw. Will def be back.

We came here on christmas to have dinner with my small family. The cook who ran the Hibachi at our table was very rude to 1 of my kids. Also it took 20 min to get seated when we had a reservation. Took another 20 min to get waters brought to table. And the bathroom has swastika drawings and graffiti. Place needs a real makeover or shutdown.

Long story short……offered PLASTIC utensils to eat with…..restaurant has metal utensils….server brought out plastic after making us wait a long time with soup amd salad served….server was absent most of the evening, so had to serve ourselves…..after horrible service from the server the owner thought that more than $5 off the ticket was highway robbery….the only good thing was the grill cook and the food tastes pretty good…..I miss Sakura everyday when it comes to hibachi…..Shogun showed promise, but no longer an option, have to keep searching for hibachi grill.

Food was AMAZING the service was outstanding, as well as the show. 3 of us and we had a blast my son loved watching the Chef doing his thing he couldn’t take his eyes off of him, we will DEFINITELY return
