Pretty dive-y looking location – I think the place has been here for 40 years – but the food, drinks and service are GREAT!
These were maybe the best birria beef tacos I’ve ever eaten, we got five big enchiladas with our enchilada meal and my mezcalita was perfect – and adorable – it came in the coolest glass with a tamarind candy as a tasty garnish.
Loved the Halloween decorations -we were just in town for one night, but this looks like a fun place to hang out.

Absolutely love this place… the food, staff and atmosphere are perfect. They’re quick to accommodate large groups and, if the weather is nice we love sitting on their large patio. 100% will eat here again.

We stopped here on our way through Carrollton. The food was very good! I had the Sincronizada – similar to a shrimp fajita with plump shrimp, sauteed peppers and onions, tomatoes, and cheese sauce. I had mine with salsa rather than cheese sauce. My husband had the luncheon beef fajitas and ate every bite! The salsa was really good and the chips were hot. Griselle was our server and she was polite, friendly, and professional!!

Always a great time when I come to Monterrey. They have strong drinks and some amazing chips and salsa. We visited while they were offering birria tacos and those were super good! I ate my entire burrito and my Texas margarita got the job done! Lol the staff is quick and easy to work with. Quick service and quick to get your food. Restrooms smell great and are clean. Great place to visit every time.

This place was actually awesome I was impressed because for one thing alot of Mexican places around here put peas in their rice they do not score for authenticity the salsa was really good the service was great he did make a mistake on the check but was happy to fix it which was great the margarita thing I had was absolutely amazing though not very strong for the price it could have been stronger but still over all this was an experience I can’t say enough about I was supremely pleased

This is one of the better Mexican Restaurants in town, if not the best. I have been here several times and I’ve never had a bad experience.
The chips and salsa might just be the best I’ve ever had at any Mexican Restaurant, and I’ve been to a ton! I cannot attest to the entire menu but the enchiladas and chimichangas are great. The menu is extensive so if you don’t like either one of those there is plenty more to chose from.
The staff is always friendly and the restaurant is well kept. And they have a live mariachi band what’s a week.
Anybody who likes Mexican food should check this place out!
