It was great watching the chef cook right in front. Food was amazing. It was great ambience. Ask about the salad dressing. Very distinctive flavor.

It was my first time here, I liked it. They cooked the food in front of us. We sat next to strangers, but that was kinda cool. The chef was an extrovert, he made some jokes and was very pleasant to have him with us. However, there was a lot of steam going directly to my face, and I could not see. I suppose it was okay, since the food was good. The waitress was super nice, she refilled our drinks and would be attentive during our visit. They had Shakira as background music, but the atmosphere was very unique. The manager allowed me to take pictures, and encouraged us to come back soon. He said they have a party room for private events, and they also do a “gong” on birthdays. I believe it’s an instrument that makes a loud noise.
Overall pretty nice, I do recommend this place.

Shogun was an excellent place to celebrate our anniversary. We were actually going to another place and saw this place. The food is prepared in front of you at a grill and our server Manuel was excellent and put on a show for us.

I hadn’t been to Shogun in years, but after seeing the massive wait times at other hibachi spot, I decided to head back. I’m so glad I did! There’s a reason Shogun has been around for decades: they deliver high-quality food and a fantastic show without the two-hour headache. The wait staff was incredibly pleasant and the food was excellent. If you’re lucky enough to get Emanuel as your chef, you’re in for a real treat—he is fun, interactive, and highly skilled. Do yourself a favor and skip the hype elsewhere; come here for a guaranteed great night.

No visit to the Valley is complete without a dinner stop at Shogun! A fave place as a kid is still a fave place as an adult. Great service and all around good food. Looks really nice after the remodel! Alvaro the Manager was awesome and welcoming, keeping everyone in high spirits this Holiday Season. Shogun a family tradition must do.

One of the few Japanese Steakhouses in the RV that still cooks the food right in front of you… Two minor cons- no yum yum sauce, and I was not a big fan of the dressing on the salad. Aside from that, everything was top notch. Scallops were huge and melt in your mouth… Both the steaks and chicken were tender and delicious. The vegetables portion were positively HUGE… The prices were very reasonable as well… We really liked the paper mache light coverings and the decor in general. Parking lot was big enough for when we were there (Saturday 4:15pm)…

On a nutshell: Cheap Shogun Franchise knockoff , will not recommend.
If you want inedible food you have to drown in watered down sauces to force into your moth, come here. Every time the chef gave us our portion i felt like i was being punished for choosing this restraunt. Starting off sith the soup and salad. The only highlight if i was a teenage girl trying to lose weight. Then, the vegetables. Very underwhelming selection. The seasoning was what i think is supposed to be soy sauce but defintley didnt taste right. The rice was apallingly not sushi, it was REGULAR rice that was extremley dry and stale. Not even the imposter soy sauce could save it. Two eggs for six people fried rice was unproportionate, and the chef also burnt the egg. Which is what i think they teach you first at cooking school. Chef didnt entertain at all it didnt partake to the expirence. After a disaapointing first two dishes, the meat was okay. The steak was cooked correctly. The shrimp was oddly small and the proportions were for someone who hates shrimp. They gave four pieces to an adult man. I felt like they couldve just reached into pocket grabbed my wallet and taken bills from me and it wouldve upset me less that what I just had to sit through.

Worst experience ever. Went with my family of 5 and waiter would take forever to just to give us a simple refill hardly didn’t give napkins. The cook that attended us didn’t do no show at all simple, non talkative, would see other cooks doing their very best of shows to entertain the families at the tables. We were a group of 5 people 3 adults & 2 children and waitress marked my ticket as 8 people total & charged us almost $30 group gratuity non professional and rude for not asking before overcharging us. Never going back again.

Delicious food at reasonable prices. Relaxing atmosphere ( when not visiting at peak times)and even a private dining area in the back. The chef was very entertaining and the food was delicious with generous portions. I would highly recommend a visit.
