If you’re looking for quick service and great food, this is the place to go. From the start, Tata, our server was helping us out. She made space for a stroller and 6 adults. We ordered appetizers and it was a huge platter to share with everyone. We also ordered a steak with onions, white rice, and black beans. Really tasty! The drinks were decent, but that’s because I’m not that into rum. They do have a full bar if you don’t want their specialty drinks. We also had a vanilla flan for dessert I would definitely come back. Great prices for the neighborhood

Good food – very large portions and tasty. Mofongo was too soupy for me though. However the service was not good. They took a while to take our order though the restaurant was quiet. Once we ordered though, they brought everything out up to our entrees just fine. When we finished though, no one came back to us to clear the plates or ask about dessert for almost an hour. The restaurant is small and we were sitting on a high table right in front of the bar so you couldn’t miss us, and still, no one came to us. I overheard another customer tell the waiter to go to our table. I was utterly confused – were we invisible? I should have called their attention but I was in disbelief. For that, I would think twice about going back.

Don’t get me wrong with the food , It was good but I feel like the prices are not justified by the taste . Presentation was 5/5 , Quality 5/5 ,Taste was 4.8/5 and price was 3/5 ( Drink was 4/5 ). The place is really nice and chill , has very nice taste of music along with the ambient lighting and overall service of the waiter. I wish I could rate it overall 4.9 but I can’t unfortunately. This place felt like kind of a premium experience with a cozy cuban touch. Our waiter ( Miguel ) played a major roll on our experience; making us wanting to come back. The cherry on top was me asking for a chimichurry (green sauce) to try at the end; That is a 10/5 A m a z i n g sauce to try along with garlic fries or yuca fries . Honestly can’t complain ; it’s a must go for getty square.

Omg. I had a lovely experience with my boyfriend visiting this restaurant for the first time. The server was very attentive, and nice!! She made us feel welcomed. One of the dishes I ordered was the popcorn shrimp. It is delicious and so are the empanadas. Also, The atmosphere is comforting and cozy. The music is on point. We had a great day and we will be returning to this place again!

The main offering, the food, was good and enjoyable. The seasoning seemed just right and the dishes arrived quickly and were steaming from the kitchen. The servers were attentive and responsive, but the ambiance was a bit too raucous for conversation. Loud bachatas (Dominican music, not Cuban) made it difficult to keep a conversation going without shouting. The place is too small for the volume setting they had on it. Also, though the restaurant offers Cuban cuisine and decor, it’s really a Dominican restaurant selling Cubanish food (there’s nothing wrong with Dominican-operated restaurants, but why not own up to the fusion of the Spanish Caribbean here?). The place was small and our party ended up close to the bathrooms in the back, where there were people constantly waiting because they fit one at a time. My main complaint here is price: These dishes were very costly for the offering, ranging in the $20 to $40 cost per person without a drink. Add the drink and you could easily spend $50 to $70 per person in one meal. Add desserts and, well, you get the picture. To top that off, this restaurant has joined many others in adding the tips to the bill, and starting at 18% for the lowest option. This is an abusive practice that is, unfortunately, becoming the norm for restaurants in the New York City area (I know this is Yonkers).
