Two of us were there for dinner last night. Both had seafood dinner. The food was good. The service has good. My only comment would be that handbag hooks should be added under the table edges. I had to hold my handbag in my lap during dinner as I never would set my handbag on the floor

The worst experience we’ve ever had!!! First of all soup is just water with a half piece of sliced mushroom, salad is a little bit of lettuce with dressing, then the main course comes… rice and vegetables taste like cheap oil or margarine. still could taste it in my mouth 30 minutes later after the dinner and it’s absolutely awful! zucchini wasn’t cooked at all. Steak and seafood weren’t fresh. Could barely eat anything from it. and it was so overpriced!

Had the scallops and tasted old, could not eat them, a couple down from us had the scallops as well, and left about everything on their plates…chicken and steak were o.k. at best. The grill was the only thing clean in the place, ceiling fans were crusted with dirt… probably the reason they keep it so dark in there..will not be making a return trip …

No visit to Venice is complete without a meal at Shogun. Chef Steve has been expertly cooking and entertaining us for years. The food is always great and the experience is always fun. This has become my 9 year old daughter’s favorite part of our Venice visits.

I have to say – I REALLY enjoyed this spot! Get there before 6pm and enjoy the Early Bird Dinner rates!! We had the chicken, steak & scallops, and shrimp hibachi dinners and there wasn’t a morsel left on our plates. Our chef, Miguel was very entertaining and the staff was attentive and polite. Great night out for dinner with my family. Mom says she’s definitely going back!! Very clean. Fast service. No reservations and we were seated immediately on a Monday evening.

Chef Steve was amazing…great personality and gives a fun show! Had a great time! I couldn’t eat the veggie mix (zucchini and mushroom) with dinner and was able to switch it out to broccoli at a cost. Appreciate the opportunity to be able to change…at last moment.

This is the 10th time Ive been here. It was entertaining, cozy, relaxing, and the shrimp and scallops was out of sight. Try the broccoli side dish if you want to taste broccoli like you’ve never had and how it should always be. Fried rice and veggies were scrumptious. Steve was super nice to my little girl and everyone else too. I can’t wait to go back. Huge portions. I left full. Excellent value. Wonderful service.
