I decided to take my family here yesterday evening (2-23-2026) upon walking in I was a little disappointed because I thought it was like Shogun in Jacksonville but still decided to give it a try. In the middle of eating, my man pulls a long strand of hair from him mouth that came from His food! Which wasn’t possible to have come from
Any of our scalps. We told our waiter and being that we both ordered the exact something, I stopped eating as well. The waiter said that she would take his plate off of the tab but I asked if both could be taken off because I didn’t feel comfortable eating mine either. She said she’d get the manager, who came over and I told her the same thing. I had just barely touched my food and since we had the same thing I didn’t want to pay for either. She asked to see the hair. Examined it, shrugged her shoulders as if she didn’t care and said she would take both of our orders off the tab. No apology, empathy or anything. Food was good but First and last time for us.

Shogun is back! We used to eat here more often than any place in town but had kind of stopped going often, and eventually hadn’t gone in a long time. We went back recently and the menu had a lot of updates and Ramen! I got a ramen and my son got a different one. They were both really good and my wife liked their hibachi

I had a wonderful experience sitting at the sushi bar. Carolyn, whom I hear is the best server in town, lived up to her reputation… And Charlie’s wit and delicious food sealed the five star deal. I had a shrimp and avocado tempura roll, and Gyoza.
2-24-2025: enjoying a light lunch of seared tuna and gyoza. Sushi bar is a nice place to sit if u r solo. Tyler a good
3-11-25: excellent again… I got the tempura bento box and it was more than I could eat. Had about six or seven different things in it. My family got the sushi rolls. And the seared tuna was outstanding. Highly recommend this for an affordable lunch.
5-18-25: I was underwhelmed today. Noel was a great server very personable and I got the lunch teriyaki style chicken and rice fried. And basically the chicken seemed like it was pre-cooked (unseasoned) and then cooked again (unseasoned) with my rice which turned out to be more like sticky rice instead of fried rice. and the chicken when you cut it had no juiciness at all it was just like twice cooked chicken bits. But there was a lot of it and the rice was good and I guess if you take it home you can dress it up a little bit in your own way to make it taste better. But the Gyoza was perfect and my brother loved his sushi roll. The place is very popular and I will go again it’s my brother’s favorite place. And he is a good cook. This was just once out of 20 times I’ve been when I truly enjoyed it. And in full disclosure they did discount my bill some for an order ordering error
10-19-25. Carolyn took excellent care of us and the food was delicious and the portions were very big for lunchtime. Excellent price I’m a big man and I had to take half of it home. I had sesame chicken large bowl of fried rice and egg roll and broccoli for under $10.

Attentive associates and has delicious sushi. Being a picky sushi eater they were able to switch the ingredients and still have original sushi taste to it. Will be visiting again try thei other cuisine on the the menu.

NEVER AGAIN!!! I am thrown right now. My husband and I ordered 2 drinks that we never got and food that never arrived to the table. I ordered lo mein with veggies and general so chicken and the lo mein came but the general so chicken never did. Smh. Wow. We asked where the drinks were the waiter looked confused and he said the waiter had gout. I’m so confused. Then when I asked him if I can send one of the lo mein back because it was a huge size. He tells us unfortunately no. He then says I was gonna tell you that the size was big enough to share. Like what??? And the food that we did get was flavorless and pricey.

We will not return to this restaurant. The calamari was literally like chewing on leather. The dipping sauce was horrible. My wife’s spring roll was hollow and cold. The only decent food was the veggies. Not impressed. Save yourself a wasted trip.

Everything was fabulous , but then we had gotten everything it was so tasty and beautiful but then as soon as everyone started eating a ROACH came from under my mom’s plate. Then they had the hadasady to say you know what pay half price when we barely ate anything so we say no until they said free then we left.

The basic dishes are good. The sushi was very bland. The waiter was great. The chef was very rude and rather unorganized. My food came out very late and dishes were mixed up. The price point was fairly decent. Wouldn’t be my first option.
